Literally the song is so emotional and she just seems to completely bare herself throughout the entire song. My only complaint after a few listens is that the album doesn't have enough ballads, but it's still a great record that's up to her usual standards.
yeah New Year's Eve is best track of the album

I love End Game but keep forgetting that Ed Sheeran is even there...like his verse and Future's almost sound the same voice wise...so I thought it was Future all along after forgetting Ed

So because it's still not on Google Play, I was forced to go to a shop and buy an actual CD of this  ...which I'll promptly be donating to an op-shop after I rip it.

Anyways, the little essay she has written in the album sleeve is really good, I would recommend reading it.

Boring and bloated record.
Which is really what her fans need.

What I don't get is, why did I get a verified fan code thingy in my CD if this is only for North America? That being said, if it's useless to me and someone here lives in the USA, I can PM you the code to add to your account.

"Call It What You Want" is terrific. Best song on the record. Hope it's the third single.

Is this only me? to give a maybe unpopular opinion . I'm kinda thinking that this trap/pop /urban thing isn't doing for her voice. I don't know I don't think it fits her. ofc many people may love it so far bec of its massive sales. But I so far don't like it. I'm not a major T swift fan but I love some of her songs like cherry picking but most of the singles in 1989 I liked. In this album there are 2 particular songs I like Call it what you want and Ready for it. The other songs ive heard I somehow skipped midway through . I don't know but so far I'm not impressed and I think this hard trap sound doesn't fit her at all.

I have to agree with you. This will not age well at all plus she has to big of an ego. The whole not putting the album up on streaming is just pure greed. Sadly, people are buying into it and will because of her name. I'd much rather buy Blue Lips next week than her record.

I admire her for not putting it up on streaming, the whole system is whack and really should only be singles to determine the most popular singles out, while albums should purely be sales and not equivalents

Everyone gave into the system too much and now its like only Taylor and Adele that stick to their guns and brand to trust the sales will follow :P

Endgame was not instant but is now growing on my immensely

King Of My Heart could've easily been a Britney Spears track on just any of her records.

Which do you hope/think will be the next single?

I hope it goes like this:
3. Delicate
4. Dancing with Our Hands Tied
5. Getaway Car

But I think it'll be:
3. I Did Something Bad
4. End Game (or #3 and then IDSB)
5. Delicate

It would be nice to have a slow song as third single tho, to break from the hectic tempo of the first two singles.
