Which video of hers has the highest 24hr views? Isn’t it also close to 50 mill in 24hrs?
I think it’s sad that this era is just dire compared to previous Swift eras
"Look What You...." had like +38 million views or something if I remember correctly, and that was one of the most viewed videos in 24 hours.

Edit: +49 million actually. :o

This page has the list of the most viewed video under 24 hours. It's not exactly accurate and the numbers are slightly different from YouTube but it's still a good source nonetheless.
Thanks! Damn!!!! :o

What happened with this? Was there any promo at all?

It seemed to never even take off. It's a pity because even though some people aren't mad about it, it had major hit potential

Heard this for the first time on a Spotify playlist earlier - it’s a bit crap.

The whole era post first single has been a mess. It's as if the record company just didn't have a clue what they were doing, but feel the urge to do something regardless.

I don't think the record company is to blame at all! They gave her a tonne of budget for this new campaign and she's squandered it post LWYMMD. Taylor probably has more say now than ever given the success of 1989. :-?

I think someone worded this excellently in a previous post on one of her topics. Not sure which.

But I think Taylor herself wasn't very satisfied with the end product and realized she would get huge backlash if she played this whole vengeful persona, so she decided to release the album as a statement. Make money from the tour and move on. But seriously such a boring era.

I think she knew whatever she released after 1989 would be seen as an underperformance no matter how much it sold so this way she had total control on the underperformance of the album (by not promoting it)

I think it was a mix of things but among them she was a bit too confident thinking her album and singles would perform well even if she didn’t promote as much and that way she would have one more thing to show off in her career but it kinda didn’t work out  they were seriously interested in a good era but this whole almost no promo theme kinda messed it up..but remember how desperate they were trying to surpass 1989 first week sales...they def cares in the beginning but then it kinda went nowhere

It bombed everywhere so obviously it didn't have major hit potential.

She's not much invested so people are out too. I still think this is the most commercial song on the album.
