I am really loving this album, she has really come through with this one. I love how simple, but atmospheric, the production is. It really allows the emotion in her voice and lyrics to shine. There's also some great hints of Afrobeats influence, which keeps it sounding very 2018 but very Lily as well.

I also love how lyrically this album is so personal, there is very minimal social commentary on the album, which I know she said it's because she does all of her social commentary on twitter now!

My top 5 at the moment are:
Come On Then
Trigger Bang
Apples
Pushing Up Daises
Cake

"What You Waiting For?" is shaping up to be my new favourite song on this album. Especially the verses and the pre-chorus are really good imo.

But I'm not even sure if I can actually name only one favourite song, because I think almost every song on "No Shame" is amazing.

Agreed. I love the album so much that I even bought it on CD & I never buy cd’s anymore. What you waiting for is brilliant. Definitely in my top 3.

I'm so happy for her, and so is she. It would be amazing if she could win, it would give the album new life. But she's too mainstream for them to give it to her.

Apples is such an amazing and moving song. Maybe my favourite thing she's ever done.

Quite a shaky vocal performance here, but the emotions are there and I think the weak voice combined with those lyrics really made it powerful.

It's a VERY good album that doesn't get a piece of praise it deserves
Many miles many roads I have traveled
Fallen down on the way
Many hearts many years have unraveled
Leading up to today

I do understand. Despite its depth it is not a musical masterpiece. It may be lyrically ingenious though.
