I can totally get it why she got just a few points in televoting. It was simply irritating.
I honestly think it was a really great song with a sweet little never ending loyalty message. Best entry UK has had in a little while.
She overreacted a bit maybe, her facial expressions were a bit over the top sometimes but I really think she was so into the song and was feeling it so bad that she couldn't help it.

She totally deserved a Top 5, Top 10 at least but the result was pretty good all things considered. Thanks to the jury though, but same thing happened with Ruth's Dancing in the Rain. She would have never been Top 10 with televoting.

This year UK's entry though... I'm not feeling it. It doesn't standout and the song is a bit boring. Comparing it to last year this is a huge step back for me.

We are talking about Lucie's song "Never Give Up On You".

I can appreciate why they've edited it but I actually preferred the original version.

Not that it would've made a bit of difference but i still preferred the original arrangement in a higher key. This final version does absolutely nothing for me.

I can see UK coming last this year quite easily. Fo' shame BBC. Fo' shame! That said, i was bemused by the reaction SuRie got from the audience when the song was first selected. It's as if they paid the crowd to cheer more for SuRie or something. :-?

Oddly I’ve really gone off this since she was selected. I just don’t think she has any wow factor and she can never nail that note.

I will be pretty surprised if this ends up in top 20. Sometimes generic & cliche entries do better than expected.

...and then there's the UK who thanks to the BBC always set themselves up for disaster, then question what went wrong when the answer was obvious all along.

If only Blue did ''Hurt Lovers'' and not their floptastic ''I Can'' for the ESC, they would have been top 5, I think

Nothing memorable. But if she ends up last or near that at least will serve Lucie right that her place last year was NOT a disappointment even though she deserved way better. Compared to last entries Lucie did pretty good for UK since usually you guys are so underrated each year...

I feel like it's gonna be UK vs. Germany a.k.a. the battle for the last place

Germany won't be last place. I think it'll get a bit of love from Austria and possibly Switzerland to avoid last place. The UK will be lucky to even get 1 point from Ireland, Malta and San Marino.

Plus Germany's entry is too Ed Sheeran for its own good, but that might even work in its favour.

Germany will get a lot of jury votes.
Personally, I dislike the German entry heavily but it will definitely partly slay the jury voting. #markmywords

SuRie will get some votes because people will mistake her for Annie Lennox and some "Commonwealth-esque" televoting points from Ireland, Malta and Australia, though :D

She did SO well to carry on after the stage invasion, in fact it propelled her performance to the best it could be!
