Debating whether I should listen to this today or save it for May.

Bought it on iTunes. Will put it on a USB stick in my safe and not listen until May, exact day will depend on the weather (unless something unusal happens).

This way I have supported her and I will still be able to listen even if the Internet is no longer here in three months.

^ why waiting until may?

I really like this EP, listened to it 3-4 times today. "Going Ghost" is probably an early fave. I'm glad i got positively surprised by this, as i wasn't a fan of "Hopscotch" and got over "Sanctuary" quite fast as well.

Though i have to say i really dislike the cover.

It's like Emmelie had a couple of minutes to do it but was in the middle of a shopping spree and decided to go to a changing room,

I'm attempting to recreate the feeling when I was first listening to her debut album five years ago. Didn't I already write in some other thread that I hoped for a delay until May? (rhyming again!) It will only work if it turns out I really like it, but if not I haven't lost anything compared to if I listened now. And May is still early enough so it won't impact any YEC charts or anything.

Good to hear that you like it!

Finally listened to this and it's definitely a good EP.

But unfortunately still disappoiting because I was hoping for something amazing, which it isn't.

^ First of all, glad to hear you think it's a good EP. Second, it's also sad that it doesn't offer an amazing song for you, even though i completely agree with you on that. Many songs from "Only Teardrops" are clearly better than everything on "History".

Do you already have some favorite songs of "History"?

Mine are "Going Ghost" and "Rabbit" - the two more experimental ones.

^ So far none of the new songs have surpassed "Sanctuary" for me. Most of the new tracks are quite even, but I think I prefer "History" and "Any Less" over the others.
