The verses are really good, as is the chorus build up but the chorus is just terrible!

Definitely not a bad song but i expected a banger when i read some comments here.
THIS! Lol, the song is just OK but not a certified massive BOP. I am sure it'll grow on me but enough with this country vibes Kylie

I adore the chorus. Like others have posted, it's such an uplifting summer anthem...in March.

I thought this was supposed to be "dark and electronic" though? It's pretty much Dancing pt 2 but if it ain't broke...

Listening to the song a few more times and hearing it and Dancing back to back, I think this is an improvement. It has slightly more oomph, even though I stand by what I said previously about Stop Me from Falling being a carbon copy. The guitar strumming in the intros of both songs is so similar that it's almost offensive.

First impressions is that I’m going to love this song. Yes it’s similar to Dancing, but it’s a much better attempt at whatever they were trying to go for. I’m a lot more interested in the album now - I wonder if there’ll be a 3rd single by then?

Probably not, their main weapon is this song + the Gente de Zona remix coming out with the video.

I hope her team thought about it. This week Stop me from falling release, next week SMFF video release + Remix of the song with Gente de la whatever.

Ah I am disappointed it's so similar to Dancing but I do like it!

I think they must be planning on releasing the Spanglish mix in the coming weeks which is a smart move, especially once the video drops.

Structually and sonically like 'Dancing' but way more catchy IMO. Cannot wait for April 6th

This is just as bad as Dancing, probably because it's literally the same song. Bye bye Kylie, you're losing me as a fan. You're to vanilla, too faceless and too bland.

I fail to see how anyone can’t be intrigued to know what the hell her album will sound like after this though. I think she’ll have her album cuts for the fans, but perhaps the songs she’s releasing are what speak to the charts.

Anyway, this feel much more like her Dolly Parton moment than dancing did.

I like that it opens with guitars and continues the direction explored by Dancing. I also like the arrangements and guitar plucks in the post-chorus. It’s very pleasant sounding.

I don’t like the chorus melody or the barrage of generic lyrics nor it’s striking similarity to Dancing in terms of structure and style. It reeks of a template.

As far as singles go, “Dancing” and “Stop Me From Falling” is miles behind her other first-second singles combo. Though they tread new musical direction for Kylie, it still sounds very underwhelming. Where’s the drama and clear, pristine hooks which she showcased in one-two punches like “All The Lovers” & “Get Outta My Way” or “2 Hearts” & “Wow”? I was hoping she’d rebound and come up with something more distinctive after “Kiss Me Once” failed to connect with the public despite going for a more “current” pop sound.

Kylie should be paving the way for pop. This is not a queen’s work, rather someone who is trying her best to use whatever songwriting skill and charm left in her to appeal to a demographic she’s not very in touch with.

(I just bought the song off iTunes and had my first two listens so yes I’m a bit disappointed right now)

^ Yet sis still got your coins without you even playing it first. #Queen

Anyway, I love the clapping and the build up.

Sounds great on radio as well!

Yeah :D I think so too.
I've listened to the song a couple of times now and I really like it, but a Spanglish mix (with more latin drums in it, carnaval-esque) would make me completely fall in love with it

She’s performing this song on BBC1’s Sport relief on March 23rd.
She’s also mentoring on The Voice this week or next week + I guess performing on the first live show as it’s the day after the release of Golden.
She will also perform live in June for BBC Radio 2.

Hate this. wtf is happening with her this era? both this and Dancing feel so basic. that godawful cheesy guitar intro and the "euphoric" pop chorus!!! and even with all that it sounds so weak and without energy.

this country folky thing doesn't suit her at all. I wanted her to move away from dance, but not to this.
