This is extremely fully revved up Southern Red Dirt. Like Alabama crossed with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Guns N' Roses. Like @heppolo said it is an aggressive sound and it will to be down to the staging and the live mixing and sound engineers at the venue to tame it a little. Not sure how the general public will react to this sound; and comparisons to the Common Linnet's entry will be made. Southern Country Rock is not very distinctive in terms of different riffs and available chord spectrum; so it's good enough for what it is and certainly it's a killer when played live in concert (outside of a platform as the ESC). Will give it a go and add it to my Bubbling Under list.
