Yay for...

1. ... getting another soulful track.
2. ... having two very different vocalists in one song.
3. ... the climax in the last chorus. Nailed it!

I love the heaviness of it. It sounds like it weighs a 1000 pounds.

It's very soulful, Back To Basics-reminiscent. Can't complain at all!

Demi actually held it back A LOT this entire collaboration and respectfully stayed in the back of the vocal layering for harmonies, I think the entire track was executed very well!
I wasn't even thinking about Demi when I said shoutfest. It's Xtina again. After Twice where she showed that restraint can be more beautiful than a minute of ad libbing and powerhouse vocaling. It's back to being basic for her IMHO.

I'll always look forward to her new material because I love Stripped and also think Bionic is a hot mess with some great tunes, but songs released so far do not give me high hopes for Liberation (Twice withstanding).

Reading the interview, reminising her career, I realised her music played such an important role in my life. Especially the ‘Stripped’ album, when i was young and much more insecure.

I love this woman so much. Can’t describe how happy it makes me she’s coming back with a bang.

yeah and this album really feels full circle in a way, she seems to return to form, found herself artistically after some diffcult times. It's great to see.
I come back to her discography a lot, throughout the years, I still consider Stripped and B2B as two of my all time favourite albums and lyrically even today a lot of songs on Stripped still are great songs to start the day with or listen to when feeling down.

Agreed. Stripped gave me so much strength and confidence as a young gay boy who wasn’t out yet who was bullied mercilessly and felt very depressed and alone and hated himself for many years. I will always support Christina not matter how patchy parts of her career have been for the amazing strength I gained from her stripped era. It is literally absolutely iconic.

Of course, like... No matter how much she could flop until she's dead lol, the impact Christina had in my life as a teenage boy was also empowering. Literally most people would listen to her music and realize how amazing her vocals were but to me Stripped touched a side of vulnerability and self discovery that no one ever did.
I hope this album will also inspired at this day and age, obviously this is another era, Christina is a married woman mother of 2 and I'm almost 30, different scenarios but I'll always be very thankful for her music and how it helped me at my worst moments, additionally I also endured domestic violence so that made me click and relate so much more to her. No one will ever top Xtina at her best but this is shaping to be her 2nd best album.

To be honest Stripped is probably the most Iconic album of that generation of pop stars, yes there were a lot of albums that sold more but the impact of Stripped and the way so many young pop stars still talk about it gives me life!!!

After 3 songs Liberation is definitely going to be one of her top 3 albums, everything so far has been on point and Fall in Line is starting off really well.
