Tbh, as a remix, the new "Lost In Japan" version is alright. I miss those old physical singles days when you bought a copy and got 3 or 4 well-produced and interesting remixes and an instrumental version and/or a B-Side. - Of course, the remixes never managed to top the original song and it this case, I agree with DnBLover, it somehow ruins the essence of the song. It got rid off its smooth vibes and it sounds like another Zedd-esque half-baked idea.. I mean, I like it that we got a remix but it's nothing compared to its original version.
Btw, does releasing a remix for "Lost In Japan" mean that it's going to be the official third single taken from "Shawn Mendes"? Are we going to get a music video for the original version of the song?
