They picked the wrong lead singles with this so bad.

If they wanted a ballad why didn't they go with Lucky Escape for number 2. Safe but lyrically solid.

Lead should have been rendevour

I didn't get the short film at first, but I think I understood its message midway through. I'm off to listen to the album now. *Fingers crossed*

Franklin’s music profoundly touched and changed the world, because over and over it offered that bridge to salvation, to freedom.

On first listen, there isn't anything better than "Sanctify" or the title track, but it's a consistent LP. I didn't hear a song I didn't like, and there were definitely two or three tracks that sounded like growers. Best pop album of the year so far!

I wasn't sold at first but it took me 3 spins before I completely liked it. "Hallelujah" or "Rendezvous" should be singles.

Great album, strong follow up to Communion.

Favourites are All For You, Hypnotised and Howl. Lucky Escape is the weakest for me, definitely not single material for whoever suggested that!

I am slowly discovering this album. I wasn't on board with their first album so I still have to determine whether I like them or not. I am not sure yet, but things look good.
Many miles many roads I have traveled
Fallen down on the way
Many hearts many years have unraveled
Leading up to today

^Agree with all those + Sanctify. Very pleased with this album and love the vision that went with it.

I'm surprised by the positive reception, good for them!
It still hasn't clicked with me, and it's a shame cause I like them a lot.
The songs are cute, but I find them a bit forgettable...

Agree. I actually still haven't managed to listen to the whole thing. Keep getting bored halfway through. :( I'll give it another shot later.

I need to listen to it all but Karma is right up my street. Still can’t believe If You’re Over Me has been the hit

Same.

All For You is a bop though.

Rendezvous could have been a Britney smash on Circus. Should be a single.

Up In Flames is good!

Rest is forgettable for me, although I should give the title track another chance I guess. But I’m lazy :(
Looks like I found my way home
