Really anticipating the release of this album. I'm also glad that HMV are doing an exclusive with the bonus tracks; ten songs on a record that we have already heard half of is a little on the short side for me so I'm happy we're getting something extra. I know that Troye will deliver with this; I've enjoyed everything so far and I think it'll be a very focused body of work and another high quality offering.

Wow - this is getting rave reviews.

Independent - 5/5
NME - 5/5
Guardian - 4/5
Rolling Stone - 4/5

Most praise is for the lyrics and references, the fact that it sounds like a mainstream pop record but with a solid popstar at the centre who's taking creative control with mature content compared to other popstars.

In a battle between this and ''Palo Santo'', the latter is slightly better for me.

Obviously Bloom and MY MY MY are the top class tunes. However, Lucky Strike is dope.

The production and lyrical content is stellar ... his vocals are an interesting as a Kat Deluna's Hot 100 chart runs

Loving the album, I feel two more uptempo’s in the vein of My My My could have lifted the album a little higher though and 12-tracks and 15 tracks overall would have been a great amount.
I hope Plum and Lucky Strike become singles if he does release Some more

Hopefully it’s a grower because none of the new tracks have really captivated the way I thought they would

Same. But i just had my first spin, so let's see how it turns out after a few more spins. Really enjoyed "Plum" though and just got my love for "My My My!" back. Oh and "The Good Side" & "Bloom" (the song) finally grow on me!

Still, it's a great album as a whole after the first spin, just a little bit short.

2018 really delivered some amazing albums by LGBT+ artists
I adore Calum Scott's, Years & Years, Janelle Monae's and Troye's efforts and MNEK also coming up. So many bops.

All killer no filler. A lot of the songs have subtle production and melodies that melt into your ears overtime rather than the songs being instant bangers, but there's no doubt that this is a great album. He delivered (as always).

Great album! I like every song on it. The ballads are really beautiful!

Just one little problem : his vocals are a bit lazy. Some adlibs on some parts of some songs would be interesting but I guess he doesn’t have the range.

This is such an amazing pop album. I never really payed attention to his music but My My My and Dance To This were so good that i had to check this out. Glad i did, i love it! It's so dreamy.

Seventeen hit me in the gut on first listen. My partner and I, who I've been with since I was 17 (5 years), broke up a week ago.

"I went out looking for love when I was seventeen
Maybe a little too young, but it was real to me"
One life with one dream on repeat

I can't really relate to the songs I think, but I like the album all in all, maybe a bit too short and still too many slow songs, but overall a nice album
