My least favourite is Mamma Mia and I prefer the live version of Waterloo but love the rest!

The album is amazing, I must say I’m surprised how “Cherified” they managed to make some of the songs. Mamma Mia is my least favourite too, but I never liked the song so I didn’t expect it to “love” Cher’s version too. Other tracks are all great, of course the Name of the Game and Chiquitita are AMAZING!

One of Us and The Name of the Game were never my favourite Abba songs but I love Chers version of both.

To me, the standout of this album is “The Name of the game” alongside “One of us”, “SOS”, “Chiquitita” and “Fernando”, while “Dancing Queen” was a major disappointment personally.

As some of you pointed out, the ABBA songs I’ve never truly liked before are the ones I love the most from this album, and maybe that’s why I don’t like 100% “Dancing Queen”, because I love the original song too much to approve any changes

The Winner Takes It All is a grower, it's an interesting experiment and it works, but I wish is was longer as imo it ends kind of abruptly.

I’ve always hated “Chiquitita”, but this version sounds great! My current favourite track among the non-singles is “The Winner Takes It All”, though.

AMAZING ALBUM!!!! :D

It’s just not very good IMO.

It’s impossible to completely ruin some of these songs, ABBA wrote and performed amazing pop music, but she definitely doesn’t come close to the ABBA magic.

Some highlights - Chiquitita and Waterloo both are great.

What an amazing record she made, her voice is just so rich, she really is an amazing story-teller!

The reviews have been really good so far too, plus she's #1 on Worldwide iTunes chart!

Rolling Stone 4/5
The Guardian: 4/5
NME: 8/10
Entertainment Weekly: A-
The Telegraph: 3/5
US Weekly: 3.5/4

A true legend!

To be honest I sadly don't like this at all. I really loved her last album, but this is not my cup of tea. :(

I love' Gimme Gimme Gimme', 'Mamma Mia' and 'Fernando'. The absolute highlights for me.
'SOS' is growing on me. I never liked the ABBA original, but Cher's version made me appreciate the song more. 'One Of Us' is also very nice.

Yes, Cher must be real proud of that 3/5 from The Telegraph.

Yes, because Cher, critical acclaim and sales always go hand in hand

If I loved it I’d say. I loved her last album and thought GGG was a great cover, but honestly? If I want ABBA I’ll listen to ABBA. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, I just don’t like it.

But you know, in terms of a U.K. tour... if she changes her mind, I’m the first in line :P

And yes, as the critics have rarely been kind to her, heck, her some of her best albums got average reviews from Rolling Stone, this is getting excellent reviews.

To quote Cher herself, she doesn't give a flying f##k. At 72, she enjoyed making this album, she's on tour, real fans love the album, most critics too etc etc.

If she doesn’t, then neither should you.

Don’t come for people’s opinions - if they don’t like the album, that’s fine.
