This has grown on me big time! I can safely say i love it very much now :)

Btw it just occurred to me this could have easily been a Delta Goodrem track, something about this song makes me remember delta very much.

The chorus sounds like 'Perfect' by One Direction. :o

So Claire has now released 3 songs from this:

1. On My Own
2. End Before We Start
3. Deep Water

Honestly, this is shaping up,to be a hell of a strong album imo. I doubt it’ll do much business, but we all know I love a good throwback pop song

Deep Waters is utterly and absolutely epic! This has grown on me hugely. The lyrics and music are both fascinating, I think this must have been the debut single.

End before we start is now having an official video on YT. The song is absolutely a joy to listen from start to finish, the video is uneventful though. Guess the song would have been worked much better as a xmas release.

I think this will shape up to be a very nice record. It is exactly the type of cheesy pop I love from time to time and that is missing in the industry at the moment.

Oh dear... must've been scared off by being lost in the Christmas rush? Although I think she could've done moderately well!

@menime123 Sorry that every doesn’t live in the UK to the answer for ‘Where have you been?’ lol! Secondly, was ‘On My Own’ at #1 only on iTunes, or #1 on the Official UK Singles Chart?

Oh dear this pushback is the worst news ever... Just a few hours ago i told myself we are a couple of weeks away from her long anticipated solo release and now here comes the news that we are about to get the album on February! This is such long delay and any hype for this release will simply be vanished. Seriously I'm beyond sad finding about this delay.

The dance mixes of On My Own are great, she could’ve had an early 00s smash with it in that form.

Nice little song, but I suspect this will be a standalone release now the album isn’t out until February. It’s no Dear Santa though!

So they just released a brand new single for the pushed back album, the track is called Shame On You, anyways its a fun little number but I'm afraid it wont garner any attention. She needed a big ballad or a beautiful uptempo to maximize her splash. I wonder why didn't go for promoting the amazing Deep Waters instead ?! :(

She’s messed up the album by pushing the album back. I suspect the strongest songs were the first few released before the album was due to drop, and now they’re releasing stuff not quite strong enough to launch an album to promote the release.

I’m hoping for at least 2 killer ballads on the album but I suspect she’ll end up promoting On My Own. I do like Shame On You though! I’ve enjoyed everything though so far and I do think it’s going to be a great album.
