Hope it will be good. Her Body Talk albums and her self-titled one were great.

I agree, 'Robyn' and 'Body Talk' were full of electropop hymns. Times change though and I wonder how much of the Robyn of that time is still left. After all, those two albums were already quite a different sound compared to her first three albums in the 90s and early 00s.

Her EP’s with Röyksop and la bagatelle magique were quite different. I expect progression on this album form the body talk eras but considering you can’t progress on perfection let’s call it change.

I‘m only a tad concerned because Missing U is rather uneventful.

They were and if she didn't release a single so far I'd expect definitely some kind of switch up from her. But then we have this:

Now Missing U is a good song, but I understand the "uneventful" part of Loose's post. For me it's uneventful in terms of how very much "Body Talk" it actually is. It's as if she didn't take an 8 year hiatus and just continued with the same sound which definitely left me slightly disappointed. I do spin Missing U from time to time, but I hope it doesn't represent the album much and she saw it as some kind of a transitional song to bridge over the gap because, let's face it, "Body Talk" released in 2018 wouldn't be nearly as impactful or fresh as it was back then.

She has done various projects in those 8 years. Quality over quantity.

Kelis’s fleshtone has 9 songs and is one of my favourite albums ever. It’s just that the gays are all size queens and want them epic RnB style 22 track bloated opus mess.

I'm not bothered by the number of tracks at all. And I kind of like the fact Missing U is the first track. I still hope it's a transitional song (in sonic terms) as she said numerous times while talking about new music how it's very different than what she did before and Missing U isn't that different.

(But I'm slightly bothered by people bringing up Flesh Tone. That's where Kelis went wrong for me. I like my Kelis in R&B, thank you very much.)

I am more worried that those tracks might be way too long, I wish there'd be 12 songs, but 3-4 minutes long
