And some people enjoyed his input on Sweetener. Some of y'all that don't like it and prefer her work with other people (or her pop shit) should, too, get over it.

The fact that the best he could give Kylie was IWGC says it all about his production skills.

He can stay well away from this.

That was like the only good song from that album  (the operatic background vocals whew >>>) . It was a nice throwback to Body Language.

Pharrell seems to have divided the pop and r&b Ariana fans for the most part (excluding the R&B fans who just hate Pharrell's production). I'd love for him to have worked on this project, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

Actually, I do believe that Pharrell is a genius and he usually lifts albums to another level but just if he produces 1 or 2 songs on a record; otherwise, it gets VERY same-y. (Another proof: Camila's debut album xD).

Anyway, where's the album? :D I thought I would be already listening to it :D

Maybe her label and Arianna wanna wait a bit now since the single turned out to be such a hit?

So, "God is a Woman" is currently the #1 song on Pop radio, "thank u, next" is #1 on iTunes & Spotify worldwide and "Breathing" is taking off as well. 3 smashes at the same time, whew.

Camila’s album is proof for what? Pharrell only has writing credits and background vocals on Havana and Sangria Wine is not even on the album.

I wonder if the tracklisting is real and will it have only 8 tracks?

The lyric video made me love the song. It's so catchy! The lyrics are cleverly written, and it's now indeed a smash hit!

Ariana is on top of everyone's game right now. This transition between Sweetener and thank u, next eras increased her profile.

Her team is so smart in capitalizing on her personal life. :o :o

First of all I doubt this was her teams decision not everything has to be calculated. Second: god forbid someone else talks about personal relationships though then we'll have an essay about desperation.
Let me quote the infamous gospel singer Katheryn Hudson: "You change your mind like a girl changes clothes."

Imagine "7 rings" is indeed a track in which you can hear a phone ring seven times xD

Let's face it, she is a pop star, and is shaping to be the biggest and most powerful pop star right now. It may be her personal decision or not, but just like everyone in mainstream pop, this was to further her brand (especially that her personal life is being talked about in the media more than any other artist right now). As authentic and tailor-made the song is for her (well, she co-wrote the song) this is still business at the end of the day.

Pretty sure no one expected it to blow up the way it did. Who would've guessed this song does in 5 days what all her other songs with preorder and presaving on streaming platforms couldn't. If this was only about business they wouldn't have released this on sunday. She wanted to adress all the talk about her and get it out there when it's done. She just released an album, a tour and has a current single and video which was just released 2 days ago. She wouldn't have needed thatfor her "brand" and I doubt the label was too happy at first that she wants to abandon Sweetener so soon while Breathin is still doing it's thing. It just blew up like no one predicted.
To quote yourself :
GetBack wrote:This title was the public reaction to her whole album for Pete Davidson filled with filler Pharrell tracks.
so don't tell me the way this turned out was expected

GetBack wrote:She should just grieve privately. I can't believe she had to mention Mac Miller in this song where she is obviously pretending to be okay emotionally, she sounds like she's going through a breakdown.

This is what she gets for dating an assh*le like Pete, he knows how to annoy her and here she is ruining her discography with senseless tracks about him.
Oh I also found this. And then after it blows up you say:
