I hope they include even the collaborations that didn't appear in his studio albums.

Yawn. What is the point of a ‘Best Of’ album in 2019? It better have new music on!

Yeah I thought the same. She also had a bad cover for that Best Of iirc, so it would make sense

Who would wanna listen to his old stuff tho

Tweens that liked Baby have grown up now and others just know his more recent bops. Anything pre-Purpose sounds horrible.

Boyfriend is still a low-key bop tho.

Besides that, everything pre-Purpose is garbaj

Although 10 years is quite some time, I believe that 'Best Of's should only happen if an artist decides to call it quits after a long career. So maybe in Justin's case in 30 years. There hasn't happened too much yet in his career to justify a 'Best Of' already. I wouldn't be too strict on his first few early hits - they definitely have their place on MJ's or Madonna's 'Best Of', even if both moved on from their early career days.

Eh is he going to put his early hits as well? They sorta not match with his later stuff.

Amazing that he has a “best of”.

His later stuff is very good, but his earlier stuff is generally terrible.

Do compilations like these still need to be produced in this day and age? All streaming services have a top songs list by each artist and many have a 'This Is' section which are effectively greatest hits compilations. This seems pointless.

I see where you’re coming from but there is still a market for greatest hits albums IMO.

Physical greatest hits albums sales, especially in some of the bigger markets (like the U.K., where compilation sales remain high), remain high (especially when songs are remastered or reworked).

I guess that for Justin’s audience, it might not be the same...

You are right actually. If I were only seldomly purchasing music, I would rather purchase a greatest hits compilation where the strike rate of good to bad songs is a lot better than a regular album. Compilations are better value for money too when you think about the amount of songs they usually have on there.
