I love those songs as well. I also love Marry The Night, the title track's production and TEOG.
It should've been a 13-track album, with Americano, BJ+AM, Bad Kids, Fashion Of His Love, The Queen released as an extra EP just like they did with Rebel Heart this year.

I tend to agree with this tbh, I can only listen to individual tracks once in a while.

It's really great, but not the album of the decade. Ok, it's the best overproduced album this century...I own  Electric Chapel and Highway Unicorn are the weakest tunes.
Oh and previously I was talking about Electric, not the album :P

I can understand why people don't take to it, but Electric Chapel is very underrated. I could do without Black Jesus, which grew to be my least favourite, but it's still good.

Born This Way is Gaga at her most creative and ambitious. Brilliant album.

this album was her best work to date. It was so edgy, dark, and original. Some amazing themes and elements. Remains one of my favorite albums of this century

This is her best album along with "The fame monster" EP. I think "Marry the night", "Government hooker", "Bloody Mary", "Heavy Metal lover" and "Electric chapel" are outstanding compositions. The album is creative and strong, however I agree with the fact that is quite overproduced and a bit exhausting, too many stuff on it, she seems to exaggerate everything, "Artpop" is also overproduced, sometimes less is more, she should release a more calmed simple pop acoustic / folktronica album like "Music" or "American life" albums from Madonna or something with more minimalism, it'd suit her well.
