I would rank her albums like this:
1. The Soul Sessions Vol 2
3. Colour me Free
4. Mind Body and Soul
5. The Soul Sessions
6. Introducing Joss Stone
Vol 2 is clearly the stronger one consisting of cover material, when it comes to original material LP 1 is her just having fun, doing what she wants, just like on Colour me Free, it's a thing of personal taste why it ranks below LP1.
MBS and The Soul Sessions are kind of her youthful material and are kind of restricted by the record label, I have the feeling that you can tell how they wanted to label her and the songs reflect a state of being caged.
Introducing just leans too much towards R&B for my taste. It seems like she wanted to be someone she just isn't on this record.
Many miles many roads I have traveled
Fallen down on the way
Many hearts many years have unraveled
Leading up to today
