Aww, such a shame. I was so looking forward to this record. The album's not bad, but it's a bit of a letdown, isn't it?
I wish they had released more singles though. 'American Gold' should've been a single. Or 'Start Fire'.

Been listening to it quite a bit lately. The album itself ain't bad, "It's Sunny" (which I like) and "Haters" (which I don't) kinda destroy the flow but other than those 2 the album is OK. It is their worst album as a whole because it feels rushed and uncompleted but that said, the ballads are great and the up-tempos are as good as anything on "Fanmail" and "3D'. But yeah, they should have recorded a bit (or much) more for this.

I'm starting to use Start A Fire. It really is a quality song. And they sound good on it. They sound good on Scandalous and Joyride too.

It's a good record, it's not the best they can come out with but "Joyride", "Start a Fire" and "American Gold" are really brilliant tracks! If this campaign was properly launched it would have at least been moderately successful in 2017 standards.

It would have been a lot more exciting if there were videos for many other songs. :-? :-?

I agree. It actually was a good album. If only they’d marketed this properly as their final TLC release. This was like just shoved in the fans faces. Even though I felt the same with DC3 Destiny Fulfilled, at least they gave us 4 proper singles with radio treatment, promo performances and a damn good tour!!!

Disagree with both y’all. Errbody knew it was their last album and it had plenty of publicity and promo.

And we can’t have videos for songs which are not worthy

If Keyshia Cole could make 11 videos out of 14 songs from one album, why can't TLC do at least half? This is supposed to be a gift for the fans. They were known for their visuals and all they did was release a decent video for "Way Back" and a terrible music video for "Haters" and nothing else happened. :-? :-?

The disrespect

But Keyshia probably paid for most of those videos. And if she didn’t her label did (which I doubt because they did NOTHING for that album.

TLC ain’t spending their independent coins on videos. T-Boz already broke lol

TLC will play their first ever UK festival at Mighty Hoopla this summer.

The group will headline the main stage at this year's festival, which is being held at London's Brockwell Park on June 3.

The slot marks a rare UK appearance for TLC, who played a sold out show at London's Koko last year in support of their latest album - their first in 15 years.

TLC have ten UK Top 40 hits to their name, including Top 10 smashes Waterfalls, No Scrubs and Unpretty. Check out their full Official UK Chart history here.

TLC join previously announced acts Lily Allen, MNEK, Melanie C, Louise and Louisa Johnson at this year's Mighty Hoopla. '90s pop sensations Vengaboys and B*Witched are also on the bill, as well as electro duo Nimmo and Belinda Carlisle.

Now in its third year, Mighty Hoopla brings together some of the UK's best alternative club nights, including Sink The Pink and Guilty Pleasures.

Tickets for the one-day festival are on sale now.

Good that they're still touring, but they should have promoted the album more when it was actually released. Only two singles/videos and that was about it. The entire 'TLC' era was such a non-event. I'm so mad they didn't release a music video for 'American Gold'. Meh.

I listened to this on the way home (it was still early in the afternoon) and I loved the first part where it felt like a summer album. The album should have revolved around that concept. I don't think it's their worst. I listened to 3D and I still cannot get into it in full, I guess it was because it sounded like a cheap copycat of FanMail in many areas.

Keyshia paid for those videos. Point of No Return was her last album for A&M records.

Like ThaInfo said TLC ain't spending any more of their independent coins to fund music videos for our asses.

Weird how that article doesn't mention them cancelling their UK tour a few months ago. That ain't ever gonna happen now.
