I hate ranking her albums because they're all stellar, but if I have to...

1. Reality Show
2. Love Me Back (although her bonus track "In Vain" is the best thing she's ever done).
3. Fearless

I love the subdued feel of Reality Show, I love how she didn't appear to be the angry black woman that people know her for!

Not when Traces of My Lipstick exist.

(but I do think they're interchangeable depending on the person...It's still a great album)

Softest Place on Earth literally sounds the best orgasm with your partner ever. One of my favorite R&B songs ever.

and their harmony on that song...   I know Kandi get's flack for her vocals but mama was holding that bottom note DOWN!!!!!!!

^^ Hard To Say Goodbye makes OTH an easy winner for me, but Traces is amazing too. I agree about Softest Place On Earth :D
Also, Dream Killa is becoming one of my favorite songs from them.

Speaking of foreign R&B, they get it right in Japan. DOUBLE is the shit:

En Vogue's "Born To Sing" and "Funky Divas" are the best albums by any girl group imo.

True when it comes to R&B that is.

Eternal's Always & Forever comes close though.

The Weeknd is releasing tomorrow and then Tinashe in a couple of weeks. My Spotify playlists are about to be LIIIIIIIT whoopp whoooop. This year is already a better year for Urban music compared last year already.

We just need Blue to stop playing and click the "upload" button (and the delete button for the Jay x B joint folder, and don't forget to clean up the recycle bin as well).

You need to get into Korean R&B as well. They're hit and miss most of the times but when they're hit, they're really GOLD.

You're more into upbeat or slower songs? In Korea, there are three type of R&B songs. The uptempo Hip-Hop-esque ones, the midtempo ones - usually sound quite cheerful & old school-ish, and then the slowers ones which are the type of ballads you'll hear at your local indie coffee shops. I'll list the midtempo & ballad ones.

Suran - Wine
Heize - And July (feat. DEAN)
Hyolyn - Blue Moon (leans towards more Tropical Pop but it's a bop anyway)
Zion.T & Crush - Just
Taeyang - Eyes, Nose, Lips
IU - Pallete (feat. G-Dragon)
Jay Park - The Truth Is
DEAN - D (Half Moon)

Also the males are actually leading in R&B in Korea so it took me a while to find the female ones. Hope you enjoy. :P

Also the J-Pop song you posted was cute. I didn't realize that R&B was such a popular genre in Asian countries. I remember one time I discovered a good R&B song on Spotify and then I realized the singer was Indonesian and I was hella surprised.

All of these are amazing truly! I recently came across a remake or remix...not sure how to categorize it of Teena Marie's "Out On A Limb". The vibe is pretty dope !!! by Tamara Wellons. I was surfing through soundcloud and stumbled upon it.
