This grew on me, it's so rare to find songs in the mainstream that speak of actual scenarios in life apart from heartbreak or cheating, etc. I feel like the album was misrepresented by "In Common". She should have chosen real, raw songs to represent this more than go with the tropical/dancehall sound.

I agree! I love that it was more of expressing the song rather than trying to impress with the song as many vocalists do these days.
