Masterpiece.
Might easily become my favourite album of the year.

I just downloaded the Album this morning and went through it once.

Am I the only one or is it basically about ****'? **** as a transcendental experience.

On first listen, TAKE ME APART is not as instant as her previous EPs. It's overall a lot more mellow and softer as I expected it to be. There is no second LMK on it either.

Nevertheless, there is a lot of beauty to find on it. Onanon is an utterly passionate piece whereas Better is a peaceful break-up hymn.

I need to dig a little deeper once I am off work.

On first listen it is a very solid record, even though I muss these instant killer tracks like Gomennasai and Rewind from her previous EPs.

Better is absolutely haunting, it's definitely one of my faves.

But honestly, it's hard to find any fillers here.

My favourites are Better and Blue Light.

I swear I was levitating when I was listening to this last night. I love it of course but I need more listens so it can sink in. This album has a lot of sounds, vocals and layers.

Better is the highlight for me. The fact it's so low key compared to the other tracks production wise is funnily what makes it stand out so much.

Despite its artistic value, I think it could have turned out more multi-layered if there were 1 or 2 more songs like LMK on it.

I totally feel the Janet Jackson vibe in some songs. The album has something Velvet Rope-ish about it.

Still: 2 more uptempo songs would not have hurt anybody.

Take Me Apart is a solid 4/5 for me.

Truth or Dare, Onandon and Blue Light have a lot of uptempo moments despite not being strict bangers. I think this album gets the balance between space and noise so right.

Onanon is f*cking flawless! This album is so damn special, definitely still in the process of absorbing it all but already feel it may be a competitor for CTRL as my favourite album of the year.

Silly me thought that Onanon was some exotic Ethiopian word. Today I figured out that the song's called On And On.

I think SZA's record is slightly better because of it's diversity. But this is number 2 of the year easily

Nothing is beating CTRL for me, but this is up there.

I've noticed that all the4 songs I don't like on this album, are produced by Arca. She can stop working with him.
