Rap-Up

Jason Derulo and French Montana turn up the heat on their raunchy collaboration “Tip Toe.”

The bounce-filled cut is perfect for the dance floor, and Derulo’s hook keeps that in mind. “Hold tight when you tip toe,” he sings. “Shake something when you tip toe.”

Montana jumps in with a reference to his favorite Ciroc and a nod to The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Big Poppa.” “French Vanilla smooth like a hundred year wine,” he raps. “I sneak up from behind / What’s your name? What’s your sign?”

“Tip Toe” is expected to appear on Derulo’s 777, along with “If I’m Lucky” and the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Swalla.” The project marks Derulo’s first album since 2015’s Everything Is 4.

The song’s release also coincides with French’s birthday. The rapper turned 33 years old today and he appears to be celebrating in Los Angeles with some help from The Weeknd. Recently, he also vacationed in Mexico for Diddy’s 48th birthday.

A bit underwhelming
I am not trying to seduce you... Would you like me to seduce you? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

Yes it's another throwaway track and it sounds like Swalla and it's not a lyrical masterpiece. But it sounds good, so I'm here for it!

Same , If I was lucky was forgettable for some reason. This is in line with swalla and he should stick with this type of sound for now.

I know he's never been known for lyrical masterpieces but this is especially poor. All of these recent batch of songs are sounding the same now and it's getting boring.
