I saw her live twice this year.. she is so underwhelming live.

However this is such a dope record! Sucks that she did so bad in the Song Countdown

This leaves us with Fergie and SZA left for the Top 4.

I'd be gutted if Fergie wins. :-? Not out of disliking her but in terms of the record she delivered.

Fergie Double Dutchess
* Points: 127
* Year-End Chart History:
The Dutchess (#27, ‘00s)

* Voted by: Benjamin, Loose, cristy, eminemno1, Guru, mattsky, JSparksFan, WakeUpMusic, ThaInfo1, Phoenixx, croatiaxtina, tyguy723, Goldmoney
* Genre(s): Pop, Dance pop, Hip hop, R&B
* Highlights: "M.I.L.F. $”, "Save It Till Morning”, "Hungry” (feat. Rick Ross), "A Little Work”, ”Tension”

Double Dutchess is the second studio album by American singer Fergie. It was released on September 22, 2017. The album is the singer's first to be released under her own imprint, Dutchess Music, in a partnership with Retrofuture Productions and BMG Rights Management, and first since her solo debut, The Dutchess (2006).

Promotion for the album began with the release of the album's first single "L.A. Love (La La)" in late 2014. "M.I.L.F. $" was released as the second single from the album in July 2016, followed by the release of "Life Goes On" in November that same year. "You Already Know" featuring Nicki Minaj was released as the fourth single on September 12, 2017.

Besides Minaj, the album includes collaborations with YG, Rick Ross, and Fergie's son Axl Jack.

BillyBlitzkid wrote:I was totally sceptical about this but it turned out just great. The long wait and the wrong singles will kill this though.

Enchant is everything! Kleopatra is also a highlight
adamf2thedeath wrote:Ok. I have to say. Having listened to the album more and having watched all the videos I now LOVE it! Such a good album and definitely a grower for me.
JeremySpears wrote:I really had 0 expectations for this album. I didn't listen to the leak cuz I really didn't care for Fergie. I knew the singles the promo-songs tho. I loved MILF$ and Hungry, You Already Know and LALove were good-ok and I didn't like Life Goes On. But then I listened to the album and I was SLAYED! The album as a whole is a masterpiece and the album of the year imo.

My faves are Tension, Hungry, M.I.L.F.$ and A Little Work

Life Goes On and Love Is Blind are the only bad songs on the album
Guru wrote:I deliberately didn’t listen to the leaks as well. And had standard expectations. But then I heard this album! I find three songs so relevant in today’s BS charting markets! Plus she sounds like straight out of her debut era. Her voice.
And the cherry on top was that she’s gave us a visual experience :P

My fave album this year to date.
Jesper wrote:I fully supported this album  since yesterday I have
- Standard Edition
- Japanese Edition
- Target Edition
- Vinyl
- Target Vinyl
- L.A. Love promo CD
- M.I.L.F. $ promo CD
- Life Goes On promo CD

Double Dutchess may not have been a commercial success, but the UKMIX charts matter more I’m proud of her making it this far!

I must say Fergie's position is very surprising considering its charts performance. I reckon if we had this countdown in 2006, The Dutchess would've been around the same position. Knowing UKMIX, the top 5 would've been: Back to Basics, B'Day, FutureSex/LoveSounds, The Dutchess and Loose in that order.

YouMakeMeFeel wrote:There are certainly some gems on here! Wolf, City Of Angels, Come Through And Chill, and Now are my favorites. Some reminiscence of Wildheart.
ludichris wrote:I was scared for this after hearing the first couple of songs released but he delivered a strong piece of work. This sounds like the follow up to Kaleidoscope Dream in many ways which is more what I wanted from him last era. Now is awesome.
Loveguru wrote:This is probably his best album tbh
Cactuar wrote:I discovered Miguel through this album. It's such an outstanding work of pop/R&B. There are moments which calls to mind some of my favourite rock bands (e,g, The Black Keys and Tame Impala) which makes it so special.
Kaloki wrote:Oh. My. God. :o :o :o

I was a little worried by the singles that this album would disappoint tbh

But it’s sexy af!!! Love it! One or two songs I’m not a fan of but overall sounds epic on first listen!

Criminal, Pineapple Skies, BANANA CLIP, Harem, Told You So, City of Angels, CARAMELO DURO, Come Through and Chill, ANOINTED, Now... are all either amazing or absolutely incredible

Album of the year :( It better blow up, so fed up of crap pop music getting all the attention and people sleeping on music like this

I think I put Miguel in my bottom Top 10, but since then the album has grown immensely on me. He's probably my #3 now to be honest.

To be honest, Miguel's album was cute for a week for me and then I forgot about it. There tracks are good, but there's nothing that makes me want to revisit back the album.
