I love it when you get an album like this, that is completely addictive. It’s so rare! The first half of the album completely floors me with every listen. I can’t get enough of Tyrant and Nuestro Planeta.

This is an interesting album, love the quirky retro R&B vibe. Can't say anything really grabbed me on the first listen but it's a good listen.

+1

It is full of rather slow burners. Miami got me hooked right away though.

I can't stop playing this. She's so freaking talented  I can't even pick my faves. Maybe Miami. Maybe Tomorrow. Maybe Dead To Me. Maybe Flight 22.
Pleasure over matter.

I'm in the same situation too!

Currently hooked on Miami as well. The way she says her name to start the song UGH i'm wet. The song has so many iconic lines!

Flight 22 reminds me so much of Amy Winehouse's Frank. It's amazing.

Feel like a fool is my favourite. It all sounds like a cool Latin Amy winehouse vibe but with bassanova elements and a load of neo soul elements with rnb/hip hop tinges.
Most listened to albums at the moment:
Christina Aguilera - Liberation
Lily Allen - No Shame
Kali Uchis - Isolation

The best debut album I’ve heard for a while. :-o There’s ambition and a strong knack for melody and rhythm, plus outstanding arrangements! Can’t get enough of Miami, Tyrant and the iconic Dead To Me. She’s such a complete pop star and a genre bender, love love love!

Listened to the album in full right now.

It's a strong, solid record but not as perfect as I thought it'd be. Just A Stranger is sooo good ugh her mind.

I was expecting something similar to Lana's Born to die, but was surprised how slow and retro some songs sounded.

It's definitely a good start and I'm excited to see what she's doing next.

My faves (atm) : Just A Stranger, Dead to me, In my dreams & Tomorrow

Songs I don't like : Coming Home (Intro), Nuestro Planeta (doesn't fit the album at all and feels out of place) & After the storm (boring as hell and the featuring doesn't work at all).

I take back what I said about After The Storm. Ughh it’s so good, it took me a while to get into it.

Can’t believe it took me so long to fully appreciate and love this album. It’s like this album was done for me but yet I didn’t give it attention at first.
I need more from her asap  Is she touring?

I have been missing out on this album. At least I have a playlist for the next few weeks.

I'm so late to this party

Damn this album is total fire. The list of collaborators is impressive. Only surprised Kaytranada didn't produce for this, he would've fitted right in.
It might be the best debut album I've heard from a female artist (if you can call it debut album), perhaps by a long margin, and definitely up there with the best albums this decade.

It is such an exciting piece of work. You have all sorts of influence in this, it is ridiculously eclectic but at the same time it follows a cohesive sound.

This girl deserves Best New Artist by a long shot, and AOTY would be justified.
