This came on shuffle and now I'm addicted to it! Such a great summer track. I've been playing it all day.

benny blanco is taking Spotify and iTunes by storm as the popularity of his debut single Eastside continues to increase. Judging from his Wikipedia page, he's no stranger to the music industry which might explain why this guys debut single in particular is looking set to potentially be one of the biggest hits of 2018.

The track features Halsey and Khalid and their vocals blend so well with benny's acoustic r'n'b production. I gave this a listen purely out of curiosity but it's easily one of the better r'n'b songs i've heard so far this year, and i suspect that'll keep growing too.

Future #1 single? Could possibly happen once people get over Drake's obsession for Kiki. :P

Kind of surprised there wasn't a thread already! Loved this since the day it came out. Had a feeling it could become big!

Like a lot of writers/producers putting stuff under their own names, this is underwhelming. Khalid and Halsey make for such a dull collaboration, but they've got a lot of Spotify clout so it was a wise move.

Crap, sounds like something Ed Sheeran wrote.

JakePsychic does it again! :o

I was so sure that Calvin Harris had #1 in the bag this week so i was rather surprised to realise Eastside had got there instead.

Apparently Ed Sheeran did write it (or co-wrote it?) so that'll explain why. :P

There's something about this song that appeals to me. It's far superior to 2002, now that really was the definition of lazy songwriting.

Don't get the appeal of this song.
Mariah saved Xmas and Gaga is saving Pop and Hollywood.

So rude of Halsey to use her phone during Khalid's opening verse.

This is surely a contender for Song of the Year. Relatable lyrics, two of the biggest streaming acts on one song and solid production. It couldn't fail.

I really like this song now. Glad it's another hit for both Halsey and Khalid.
