What is this countdown?
It's the Urban/R&B Album of The Year 2018. You guys vote for your favorite records then I will count them down until #1.

Rules

1. Listen to your favorite R&B/Urban albums of the year again, rank them from #1 (favorite) to #15 (least favorite), then PM the list to me.
2. You may submit up to 15 albums (max). You have to vote for at least 5 albums.
3. Remember the genre. The albums that are allowed are:
- All albums that belong in this R&B and Urban section of UKMIX.
- All albums that have charted within either Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Billboard Top R&B Albums or Billboard Top Rap Albums. You can check their stats on Wikipedia or Billboard.
- The term ‘R&B’ has been used so widely these days so there will be some Urban/R&B outsiders that I’m going to allow. For more details please see below.
4. The album has to be released between January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.
5. You can also put some comments & list your favorite songs from each album you vote, just for fun.
6. The deadline is January 15, 2019.

Frequently Asked Questions:

May I vote for albums that are not on the list below?
Yes, as long as it’s Urban/R&B and released in the US and/or the UK between January 1st - December 31st.

Can I vote for non-English albums that belong to Urban/R&B, i.e. K-Pop or Latin?
Of course, why not.

How about mixtapes?
I’m going to allow it, so yes. As long as it contains original songs.

EP's?
Yes, as long as it contains at least 5 original tracks.

Aren't they auditioning new girls or something? I remember seeing pics online of the members allegedly. One of them is Pia Mia, another one is Korean and the rest... well... I could barely remember the original dolls so...

If the lambs vote, the race is for second place. If not, will be an interesting result!

Lambs shouldn’t be able to vote unless they have at least made 20 post outside of the Mariah thread.

Agreed
Based on the data from previous years, most of the lambs didn't even notice that this thread exist so we're good.

I'd love if somebody other than the obvious Bey/Mariah/Kanye/Nicki to win this year.

Mariah might win with or without full lamb support, but I need Janelle Monáe to get the love she deserves!
