It’s blah and inspirational.

The lyrics are meant to be inspirational, but the production is very bland. Sounds like a Brandy demo from 2008....or a leftover from Michelle’s album released around that time.

 at a third topic getting made for this song, lemme merge them again.

It's quite a nice song and it really sounds like it could an Olympics theme or something. We all need songs like this.

I made a second one within a couple of minutes, because you moved the other one so quickly that I thought I had closed the preview window without pressing send.
I also don't understand why this is going in "Pop", when so many other poppy songs by Urban/R&B artitsts don't... the distinctions seem very random.

In other words: Sorry for the work, wasn't my intention. Maybe threads could be moved/merged less stealthily...?

It's listed under Pop on the digital platforms it's on, which is why I posted it here.

Would be great if pop stations played it...

Is this doing better than Kelly's new single?

It's cute but a bit uneventful, I am rooting for Michelle, but I wish she would come harder. She is capable of so much more both vocally and musically,

Don't worry about it, it's no problem. Sometimes the duplicate thread gets locked (which is less stealthy), but on most occasions I prefer to merge.

As for the genre debate, sometimes the lines are very blurred, however in this case the song sounds very pop. The original topic was created in the pop forum, so I felt no need to move it. Poppier songs in the urban forum were most likely created there as opposed to being moved.

I so agree. I would love if she did an album like Whitney's My Love Is Your Love. There are big ballads like When You Believe or I Learnt From The Best where she can showcase her voice, RnB jams like MLIYL and Heartbreak Hotel and some fierce uptempos like It's Not Right and If I Told You That.

I would like her to go down the Jazz route...even if it's for just one project. I think she would sound amazing over Jazz music.
