Idk if this thread is allowed because the original thread is already in retro but homegirl is re-making all of her albums/songs under Blackground with brand new vocals, mixing, artworks, etc. because Blackground blocked all her studio albums from iTunes & other streaming platforms.

P.S.: The new version of "Demonstrate" and "Disaster" are already out as well!

So glad she has done this! Great way to get her old stuff out there and stick it to Blackground.

Hopefully a few people will discover this great album now.

She releasing her first album too (along with Demonstrate and Disaster). Might as well make it a joint thread, sis.

It's genius that she's doing this and I can't wait to listen  cry:

Done.

If only we're allowed to vote for these two albums for the Album of the Year countdown, both will easily make up my top two.

Breezy, City Lights and Baby It's You are still those bops with grown vocals. I would DIE if she could re-record her original idea for Jumping Trains aswell and finally release that one day. But for now I am so damn grateful, and I hope for a proper full length new studio album next year with a tour also coming.

I lived for her second album but have never listened to the first so I’m excited to give it a spin when it’s uploaded.

I have always loved The High Road. It was one of my favorite albums when I was a teen. Such a nice Xmas gift!

All of the songs seem to be on YouTube. I can see that many have been reproduced so sound slightly different, but her matured voice elevates these songs now! They sound more appropriate coming from a fully grown adult and not a teenager.
