Very strange. I was expecting at least 200K, although since we found out Mondays sales, it was obvious it's first week sales were going to be dissapointing. I thought after such a massive selling album, he would have HUGE first week sales (like Dido). It's first week sales are even less than Rudebox, despite the music being very mainstream and very similar to B2B, although obviously overall sales will be higher.

The first week is going to be really awful. I wonder if songs like "I Really Want You" or "Annie" can help the album at Christmas, which could clear all the low sales of the release.
I'm not really optimistic about the US market yet, they do not seem to bother about him anymore.

Now #22. This song is not even performing that bad, it is a slow burner, maybe the album will be the same.

Debut at #1 in NZ, certified only Gold.

More surprising, "Carry You Home" is already #5 in iTunes Switzerland, where 1973 still #1.

Well, 1973 is performing well on airplay/downloads in Europe, but first figures of the album are very poor, 117k in UK, 31k in France, less than 5% of B2B sales.

In France, I have see absolutely nothing about the album on TV. Maybe they are voluntarly going for a slow promotion to not see everyone bored after 1 single

Lack of promo can't be blamed for its low sales everywhere though, especially not in the UK where there is an advert on the TV for it every five seconds. I've seen him on loads of TV shows promoting it and the single was the most played song on British radio. What do you predict for first week global sales? I bet it's shipments will be insanly large

Only 18k sold on Monday. Anyone know yesterdays sales?
