    Here is a list of all the Irish ESC entries that appeared on the IE singles chart with the highest positions. Of the 44 songs that Ireland sent to the ESC in 1965-2010, on the chart were 42 songs performed by:

A much more detailed list of the Irish Eurovision entries' chart performance (and those of all other countries, even non-winners, that charted in Ireland) was posted here:

- although it has not yet been updated to cover the last three years. When it was prepared, it was checked very thoroughly to ensure it was fully correct.

I haven't cross-checked any further items on this newly-posted list, but I can immediately see one major error and one omission:

He should be right at the bottom of the list, peak position 48.

Even the 1999 entry, omitted above, went higher:

So only two Irish Eurovision entries never charted in Ireland:

2001 GARY O'SHAUGHNESSY - WITHOUT YOUR LOVE

and the last-placed entry of 2007 - which was disqualified from the charts as it was given away as a free download only.
