Thanks for the chart runs Hanboo! :D

One minor point...

* US SINGLES - BUBBLING UNDER *

1. EVERYTHING IS GONNA BE ALRIGHT
Date: 06/11/1965 - Run: 132-128-*126* (3 wks)

2. EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT
Date: 04/12/1965 - Run: 133-*131*-131 (3 wks)
I do believe that these two are the same single. They have the same label & no. anyway. I don't know which title is the correct one, though. Thanks for the great work that you do!

Hello Hanboo,
many thanks for those information.
But in the MOST DEBUTS OVERALL IN A WEEK-section with the US Singles chart, there are still only three weeks with the most new entries and those three weeks are still weeks in which was a big change in compiling the chart.

61 12/11/1955 - this one was the first Top 100-chart and before it was only a chart with 40 positions;
59 05/12/1998 - this was the first Hot 100 chart changed from being a "singles" chart to a "songs" chart;
30 04/08/1958 - this was the first week of the Hot 100 Singles Chart, where Airplay songs have been discontinued and the last week columns have been continued from the Top 100 chart, so in all of those charts it's logical that there are so many new entries in it.
...................................................
Do you still have maybe a continuing list of the US Singles chart-statistics, where only normal charts, without big compiling-changes have been used for the statistics?

I know the rules for requests state a max of 3 artists for new chart runs and 5 artists for updates, but I don't know about a mixture of the two, so I hope this isn't too big a request!

Could you please post chart runs for Mary Wells and Martha & the Vandellas? Then, could you please update the chart runs for Gladys Knight & the Pips and Phil Collins, specifically to include Bubbling Under positions? Thank you as always Hanboo!

Hanboo - I - and The OCC etc. get 'Gold' by ABBA
to be on 214 UK Top 40 Weeks, & 58 Top 10 Weeks.

You have 213 & 57.

This is because in the Chart of 18th April 2004,
you count the 'Gold' that Entered at No.4, as
not being the same 'Gold' that you counted before
then, & afterwards.

The No.4 Entry was by a CD + DVD 'Limited Edition'
of 'Gold'. I, The OCC, & UK Chart Books count it
as as up-date of the 1992 'Gold', & add its Stats to
that CD.

In the same Chart, the old, (CD only), Disk of
'Gold', was at No.125. It sold about 1,500 to 2,000
copies to be there. I, The OCC etc. ignore that
No.125 Hit - and only concentrate on the No.4 'Gold'
in that Chart.

You see the No.4 Hit as a totally different Album,
& count it as such for that Week only.

The next Week - 25th April - it fell to No.8, &
you add that Top 10 Week - and all subsequent
Positions to the 1992 'Gold'.

This is fine, but it leaves your Stats in a very
odd place.

It means that you have the 18th April CD + DVD
'Gold' entering the Chart at No.4 - then dropping
out of the entire Chart by the following Week
- W/E 25th April.

It means that you then have the No.125 'Gold'
rising to No.8, in the 25th April Chart.

I, & The OCC made a far more logical decision:,

W/E 18th April 2004

CD + DVD 'Limited Edition' 'Gold' - Enters
at No.4

The 'old' version of 'Gold' is at No.125 in
the same Chart.

We ignore the No.125 'Gold', & regard the No.4
'Gold' as simply an up-dated version Re-entering.

We have it dropping from 4 to 8 in the 25th April
Chart.

It gives it 214 Top 40 Weeks, & 58 in the Top 10.

Far, far more logical than having the 18th
April 'Gold' enter at No.4, then drop off the Chart,
& the 'old' version jumping from 125 to 8.

I think that you made a very odd decision there.

After all - whoever heard of an Album entering
at No.4, & not even being in the Top 200 in the
next Chart?

Hi Hanboo,

An excellent resource all around - you've done a great job over the last 6 years or so.

Could you please post chart runs for the following three (I've checked that they're definitely not already there):

* Tony! Toni! Toné!
* 112
* Jeremy Jordan (probably showing my age here)

Thanks heaps :)
