But please have a look at that...
Is the US chart run of Video right? Because singles usually fall out of the chart if they are out of the top 50 after the 20th week.
Yes the run is correct. You're right 20+ week songs are usually kicked out but there are exceptions and this is one of them. Probably because it wasn't in the top 50 when it charted for the 20+ time.

TOP TRANS-ATLANTIC ALBUMS
(through July 28, 2012)

Based on chart performance on the combined UK & US album charts

Note: this list is compiled from the separate top 1000 of each country's top albums chart.
The top 1000's are based on chart performance and incorporate all available charts including the UK's extended Top 200 album chart.

Key to the list: ranking, top US album chart ranking, top UK album chart ranking, artist - title (debut year)

Code: Select all
Pos. US  UK Artist - Title (year)
19.  61  74 Adele -  19 (2008)
66. 165 237 Adele -  21 (2011)
Hanboo:

Just a personal grumble of mine but I always find lists of this type (i.e. mainly based on weeks on chart presumably?) don't give what most would recognise as the "correct" answer.

For instance, just from what I've highlighted above, there is no way that Adele's 19 has been a more successful transatlantic album than 21.

This isn't a criticism as much as it is a comment that lists such as this are very difficult to put together because they will always favour albums which spent many weeks on chart - rather than many weeks in the higher positions...

Yes, if you give me a list of winner-songs which have charted in the US or UK.
I don't have complete informations about the winner-songs which have charted in the US or UK. I only have a list of the winner songs.
