I know it's not your normal request but any chance you could tell me what was number 40 on the last midline (catalog) chart on 22nd October 1988.

Thanks in advance

with some information, I am not entirely in agreement
Example:

Frank Sinatra (UK-Single)
9. ALL THE WAY / CHICAGO

correction:

9. ALL THE WAY / CHICAGO
9A ALL THE WAY
Date: 23/11/1957 Run: 29-0-21-17- 7-5-8-5-*3*-3-4-4-6-6-6-10-14-13-15-26
9B CHICAGO
Date: 30/11/1957 Run: 25-21
Explanation: All the Way charted 23/11 – Chicago charted 30/11 – 07/12 both sides were listed together - From 14/12 All the Way was the only side listed

Please your opinion on it
The way you list it is the most ideal and correct, but my chart application doesn't provide options to include separate runs for A and B sides in one entry. I never found that very necessary or important, I just list both sides for the entire run. In some cases I made separate entries, like the Beatles single Something/Come Together. A case like in your example is pretty rare.
When I have lots and lots of time on my hands, I will include all these intricate chart details in my chart database.

chart run album xy: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 8 / 10 / [...] = 3 subsequent increases

And then I wanted to know which are the albums or singles that have the most consecutive increases...
