There are 2 different albums (1985/2000) so you have to split the chart history of The Doors album in 2 albums!
What is your opinion?
Or does the 2000 album never chart and all entries are from the 85 album?
Indi
Your information is incorrect. Yes, 2 Best Of The Doors have charted on the US chart. The first charted in 1973 and was a single disc.
The second (much more successful) was a double album and first charted in 1987.
The 2000 one is probably a new edition of the 1987 one, but contains the same tracks.

The Doorts - The Best Of

There are 2 different albums (1985/2000) so you have to split the chart history of The Doors album in 2 albums!
What is your opinion?
Or does the 2000 album never chart and all entries are from the 85 album?
Indi
Your information is incorrect. Yes, 2 Best Of The Doors have charted on the US chart. The first charted in 1973 and was a single disc.
The second (much more successful) was a double album and first charted in 1987.
The 2000 one is probably a new edition of the 1987 one, but contains the same tracks.
Hmmm... Have a check on the wikipedia-page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Best_o ... iguation29

There you can see that all 3 albums are different! And: I don't mean the us charts, I mean the uk album charts!
