I always can expect this list to be diverse and not know many of the songs from your countdown.

I mean I only knew Adam Lambert's What Do Want From Me (the proper way of spelling it)
I see The Anastasia collab tho, lemme listen (its dancey right?)

#200 Image||> The Mandrake Memorial - Just A Blur (Vers. 2)

From the album "Puzzle" released in 1969, they are a pretty obscure band, this track is only a short one but it's really dreamy and it got some play this year, I included this in my EP on Vindrag's EP thread as an intro.
#199 Image||> The Zombies – Beechwood Park

The Zombies received a nomination in the Rock & Roll Hall of fame this year, I was a little surprised as I thought they were kind of obscure but evidently not, the album which this is lifted from is called "Odessey And Oracle" and it was released in 1968 and has become somewhat of a cult classic, this is a lovely slice of psych-pop.
#198 Image||> UB40 – Kingston Town

This song is gorge, it was played at my dad's funeral as he loved this song and the band so it always reminds me of him. :( I love Ali Campbell's voice on this as well.
#197 Image||> The Moody Blues – Ride My See-Saw

I love The Moody Blues, this track has that classic hippy rock from the 60's vibe, the album "In Search of The Lost Chord" is one of my fave 60's records, the concept of the album in my interpretation is somewhat a journey to peace, great album well worth seeking! :D
#196 Image||> Judee Sill – Ridge Rider

I was crazy about Judee last year, she had a sad fate and was a very talented yet overlooked folk artist, her music had a beautiful spiritual softness which I love, this track is about a lone free ranger type character I think and it's from her self titled debut.

#195 Image||> Poe – Another World

From the 1995 album "Hello" this is among my faves from this album, love Poe's sultry voice and this track is a really cool slice of trip-hop.
#194 Image||> The Moody Blues – Procession

Second top 200 entry for the guys, this is fantastic, I love the different layers this one has, electronic sprinkles at the beginning and even some piano, the tribal sounds, flute... it escalates, calms and flourishes again like a flower, after hearing it just now I reckon I'll need to give more sex to this one in the coming year.
#193 Image||> Basement Jaxx – Good Luck

Loved this song since release, one of their best singles imo, a bit underrated, anyone who likes their other songs will love this one too, random fact - I sang this in the shower today. 8-)
#192 Image||> Lily Allen – The Fear

Quite possibly Lil's best single, great social commentary, a cracking pop song, an all-time fave.
#191 Image||> Simon & Garfunkel – Old Friends

Was much higher last year when I was totally obsessed with the "Bookends" album. How beautiful is this though? So delicate and touching, Paul's writing always touches me and Art's vocals make this blissful, timeless gem.

#190 Image||> Alanis Morissette – Tapes

Epic song!! Still my fave from this amazing album tbh. It has this schizophrenic and tense atmosphere, love the lyrics too, something I think many can relate to.
#189 Image||> Donovan – Cosmic Wheels

Donovan has been a big hit with me, this is a catchy guitar driven pop/rock tune, anyone who likes Donovan's usual style will no doubt like this one.
#188 Image||> Goldfrapp – Dreaming

The Frapp's never disappoint, this is a cool cut of 80's inspired synth pop, Alison's luscious vocals make me gush, always. :lol:
#187 Image||> Cécile Corbel – Arrietty's Song

I discovered this twee song from the Studio Ghibli film "Arrietty", it's really pretty and was written specifically for the movie, Cécile's voice is beaut and very high, the song features harps.
#186 Image||> Amy Studt – Just A Little Girl

I love Amy, this song isn't for everyone, it's a bit teenage girl's anthem but I just love Amy's conviction and this is so catchy! :lol:

I love "The Fear". "Just a Little Girl" is fantastic too.
Franklin’s music profoundly touched and changed the world, because over and over it offered that bridge to salvation, to freedom.
