LOL! Yeah I've been sneaking around one of your all time album lists and saw some of he stuff on there! I find her fascinating, definitely up my alley. I think my fave album from her right now has to be Bright Red, it's awesome! Laurie has a few more to come and not all from Big Science.

I love Mister Heartbreak and Strange Angels too. Haven't heard too much of her post-Strange Angels stuff

I actually plan to get back into the elaborate lists and do a new top 500 albums list after I wrap up the 2014 albums, especially since my tastes have changed so much in the past 5 years and with all the great albums that have come out in recent years 8-)

You should do it, all-time lists are always so good to follow. I was thinking of doing one soon as well. :P

22 Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott – D.I.Y.
21 Paul Simon – She Moves On
20 Paul Simon – The Cool, Cool River
Last years #1, very beautiful, a song you should listen to quite a few times and intently to get all of it's brilliance.
19 Laurie Anderson – From the Air
Has a foreboding feeling, it's set at the scene of a plane going down, very cool and provocative which is what I have come to expect from Laurie.
18 Paul Simon – Long, Long Day
17 Laurie Anderson – Sharkey's Night (Home of The Brave version)
This song is so cool, I love the weird vocal effects, strangely catchy!
16 Lily Allen – Hard Out Here
15 Tim Buckley – I Never Asked To Be Your Mountain
Sooo passionate, what a voice, amazing musicianship here too, Wardo try this and let me know what you think!
14 Cibo Matto – MFN
13 Anastacia – Lifeline
Passionate and classy ballad from Anastacia, this album felt really close to her.
12 Laurie Anderson – Language Is a Virus
One of Lauries most accessible pop tracks, so darn catchy but still left-field.
11 Anastacia – Underdog

TOP 10:

10 Paul Simon - God Bless The Absentee
9 Linda Perhacs – Freely
Amazingly delicate and really takes you away, so chilled.
8 Anastacia – I Don't Want To Be The One
7 Paul Simon – That's Why God Made the Movies
One of my all-time fave Paul songs, gorgeous and memorable melody and lyrics.
6 Anastacia – Staring At The Sun
5 Devin Townsend Project – Kingdom
Also made my top 40 last year, so powerful and gives me feelings! Melodic and emotive metal.
4 Anastacia – Oncoming Train
3 Paul Simon – Jonah
Ahhhhh....the melody and the magical lyrics always make me rested, really gorgeous song from Paul Simon.
2 David Wise – Aquatic Ambiance
This is so nostalgic but it's not what made it my #2 this year, the melody and atmosphere of this track is otherworldly, something alien, distant and very sad about the melody, very beautiful.
1 Anastacia - Stupid Little Things
It was always going to be this as I was anticipating her comeback so much, classic Anastacia, catchy, gritty and that incredible voice!
Paul Simon is the winner of the poll with 14 songs in my top 100 this year! :D

TOP 10 ALBUMS:
1 Anastacia – Resurrection
2 Paul Simon – The Rhythm Of The Saints (Last years #1)
3 Paul Simon – One-Trick Pony
4 Lily Allen – Sheezus
5 Larkin Grimm – Parplar
6 Linda Perhacs – The Soul of All Natural Things
7 Tim Buckley – Goodbye and Hello
8 Laurie Anderson – Big Science
9 Paul Simon – There Goes Rhymin' Simon
10 Suzanne Vega – 99.9 F°

Wish I could comment on all songs that I've loved this year but haven't got enough energy sadly. I've linked to a few there. Thanks, peace and love, I'm out! :D

Really glad to see "Stupid Little Things" at #1. It's soooo good, it's a shame she wasn't that successful with it, should have been a big(ger) hit!

Also good to see that Lily did so well on your countdown :)

^ Agreed. Anastacia should be recognized more, she has real talent as a singer and this song is just perfect pop, let's hope she doesn't wait too long to release another album and gets another shot at big success, she shouldn't be counted out just yet.
