thanks so much for all comments – here’s the full update for...

week 46/2015 – 12 november 2015 having a Delirium

Image
    Singles Top40
Justin Bieber gets his very first number one single on my charts, as his current release “Sorry“ rises one spot up to the top. It’s the second single of his new album “Purpose“, which will make its entry on the charts next week. His previous highest peaking single was “Beauty And A Beat“, which peaked at #3 in 2012. Ariana Grande is already down to number two with “Focus“, followed by Adele who stays at #3 with “Hello“.

Five new entries and two re-entries are on this weeks charts, but none of them made the Top10. Meanwhile, the highest debut comes in at #15 and is called “Adventure Of A Lifetime“, and is the new single by Coldplay from their upcoming album “A Head Full Of Dreams“, which will be released later this year. Norwegian songstress Maria Mena will release a new album called “Growing Pains“ later this year as well, and released “I Don’t Wanna See You With Her“ as the lead single, which makes a rather disappointing entry at #20. It’s her seventh arrival on my charts so far, but all previous songs debuted and peaked inside the Top10, with half of them even having a top debut. Swiss singer Bastian Baker makes his first entry ever as “Tattoo On My Brain“ debuts at #23 (coincidentally the exact same position like its position on the swiss singles charts this week). Another swiss artist – Lo & Leduc featuring James Gruntz – are new at #27 with their new single “Pluto“. With Jaël still doing strong with “In Love Again“ (11-12) and Anna Rossinelli being successful as well, there are a record-setting four artist in the Top30 now from my home country. Last but not least, Anastacia has the fifth debut of the week as her cover of Christina Aguilera’s “Army Of Me“ debuts at #28.

As mentioned, there are also two re-entries. French newcomer Louane is currently setting the charts on fire in Germany, with her “Avenir“ being a surprising Top3 hit there. She performed the song on a big german show around three weeks ago, which is the main reason why i re-discovered it and so it climbs back at #36, and it’s likely to rise even further next week. Lena, who also performed on the same song (but with “Wild And Free“), is back at #37 with “Traffic Lights“.

While Zara Larsson’s “Never Forget You“ rises 6-4, her second entry “Lush Life“ stays at #5, followed by Gwen Stefani’s “Used To Love You“, which falls 4-6. Anna Rossinelli get their first Top10 entry ever as “Bang Bang Bang“ jumps 14-7. It was already their highest charting single ever with its entry a week ago, as their previous highest peaking single was “Shine In The Light“ which peaked at #16 last year. Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love“ remains at #8, being in the Top10 for nine consecutive weeks now. Another song climbs into the Top10 as Birdy and Rhodes’ “Let It All Go“ climbs 15-9. It’s still Rhodes’ first and only entry so far, and Birdy’s fourth Top10 arrival from five entries overall. Jasmine Thompson closes the Top10 with her current release “Great Escape“ (9-10).

Charlie Puth’s “Marvin Gaye“ (10-11) and Selena Gomez’ “Good For You“ (7-14) leave the Top10 this week. Blackmore’s Night get their first certified single, as “Will O’ The Wisp“ is certified with Gold this week (12-13). Ellie Goulding’s single “On My Mind“ benefits a lot from the album release, as it’s back up 33-16. Lady GaGa’s re-enters the upper half as well, as her pop ballad “Til It Happens To You“ is up 24-18. German pop singer Lena is about to be back in that territory as well, as her current single “Wild And Free“ keeps on recovering, going up 23-21 this week.

Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind“ is the biggest climber, while Demi Lovato’s “Confident“ is the biggest loser this week as it tumbles 25-39.

    Album Top20
Ellie Goulding gets a top debut with her third studio album “Delirium“. The album is the follow-up to “Halcyon“, which spent incredible nine weeks at number one and is one of the most successful albums ever on my charts. The re-release called “Halcyon Days“ debuted and peaked at number one in 2013 as well. Carrie Underwood slips 1-2 with “Storyteller“, while german pop princess Lena climbs back into the Top3 with “Crystal Sky“. The album is charting for a half year now and gets certified with 2x Platinum this week.

Jaël’s “Shuffle The Cards“ slips 3-4, followed by Inna’s self-titled album which is down 2-5. Blackmore’s Night’s “All Our Yesterdays“ (7-6) switches positions with Selena Gomez’ “Revival“ (7-6), followed by Demi Lovato’s “Confident“ which drops 4-8. While “Delirium“ easily got the top debut, it’s not the only new album on the charts this week as there are another three new entries, and two of them made the Top10 as well. Candice Night, one half of Blackmore’s Night, released her second solo album called “Starlight, Starbright“, and enters the charts at #9. After having a surprising top debut a bit more than a year ago with “Resurrection“, Anastacia released a best of called “Ultimate Collection“. The album already spawned two singles, but both weren’t that successful so far, and the album is having a rather weak start as well as it debuts at #10.

Jasmine Thompson’s “Adore EP“ leaves the Top10 after seven weeks (10-11). A fourth and last new album is just one position below at #12. Bastian Baker is one of the most successful swiss artist from the last few years and released his third studio album last friday, called “Facing Canyons“. The debut is his very first entry ever on my charts. While Pentatonix (9-14) and “Higher Than Here“ by James Morrison (8-15) leave the Top10, there’s also a re-entry as “Chambre 12“ by Louane is back at #18.

here are replies to your comments from week 45 (sorry, i thought i alredy replied to them... #mess  )

Mainshow wrote:Nice to see "Problem" being your current #1! - Amazing song. Such longevity! - I also love the other singles of that era.
Haha good one  But what's your opinion about "Focus"? I guess you don't like it that much, do you?

He did even without the video 8-)

Glad you like her success, but it's also well deserved IMO. "Storyteller" is such a great album! :)
Thanks, they were amazing!

Good to see Storyteller and Confident doing well in the album chart. Carrie's has grown on me so much, and I adore Demi's.
Glad you like these entries :)

Also good to hear you like these albums, and glad to hear Carrie's album grew on you. It's fantastic! :D

KokoCollino wrote:I still have to get into "Focus" - but I quite like Ariana, and I'll definitely give her new album a spin.
"Break Free" was one of my faves of 2014 and I didn't really like it at first either, I guess many of her songs are growers!

Have a great vacation and really sweet that you still give us some updates but keep on enjoying your time off :D
Well, she said the album sounds nothing like "Focus", so i hope it will be a good one (even if i like "Focus", it's definitely not as strong as most stuff on her last album).
Oh glad to hear that about "Break Free", as it spent incredible nine weeks at #1 on my weekly charts (= i LOOOOOOVED it!)

Thanks, i really enjoyed them (they were over too fast though - as always  ).

MostFierce wrote:Oh no, Focus beats Hello, its good track though, but she had better
i love Sorry climbed too, he keep coming with great stuffs..
Well "Hello" was already on top as well so i think it's okay :) But i agree, it's definitely not one of her best songs...
Glad you like "Sorry" too, such an amazing pop track!

Great to see Army Of Me there! Xtina's version is better imo but Anastacia's is great too! It's also great to see Delirium! Even if I haven't listened to it in full..
Well, i think #1 is also well deserved. I think "Sorry" is amazing now, definitely in the Top3 of his best songs together with "As Long As You Love Me" and "All Around The World"

Glad you like it and i agree that Christina's version is better, as it has more power. But Anastacia is doing a good job too yeah. I hope the rest of the album will be good for you too :)

Mainshow wrote:Not a huge fan of your #1. Personally, I think that "Sorry" cannot compete to "Purpose"'s first or third single. Also, I don't get the love for "Focus". Such a huge disappointment!

However, I am glad that Coldplay got the highest debut this week! Love their new single & also it's nice to see Lo & Leduc on your charts + soooooo happy to see "Traffic Lights" returning! Get those more points for the year-end charts, Lena!!!
As i mentioned above i think "Sorry" is one of his best songs ever. "What Do You Mean?" was good at first, but it's just so uneventful and boring now

Good to see you like the debut for Coldplay. Their new single is really good, can't wait for "A Head Full Of Dreams" :D Also pleased to read you like Lo & Leduc's entry - do you know their song? :o TL still sounds sooo fresh... and i still listen to the album a lot, so i think TL will stay on the charts for some more weeks 8-)

CrazyCrazy wrote:Shame the Ultimate Collection is flopping considering you're new to her generally, did you like Welcome To My Truth at least? Army of Me is good, vocally she sounds great but it's also been a bit of a flop on my chart too, only charting for 2 weeks, I much prefer Take This Chance as of now!
I think she'll do fine in the end, probably similar to Years & Years who only peaked at #10 with their debut album, but still stayed on the charts for 13 weeks. The thing is i didn't have that much time to listen to that album lately, so the two new tracks were currently the only 'support' for it, and they are far away from being big successes.
Yeah i always liked "Welcome To My Truth"! :)

Loving the Lena slayage :D CS is a great album, and the only one of hers I like

Where's Little mix though??

PS I'm glad your holiday was good!
Same! Most tracks were huge growers for me and now i'm really liking the album, but i agree that it's not as good as "Halcyon".

Glad to see you love Lena's success, i had no idea you like her that much! :o
"Stardust" was nice too, and the ESC singles from her first two albums were amazing. But CS is definitely her best album by faaaar for me too.

Sorry, Little Mix' release didn't interest me so far. It's on my 'to-check' list though

Thanks a lot :D

Just read your comment replying to me from two weeks ago and it looks like Sorry has had a big impact on both of us since then. It's jumps up to #6 in my chart today, it's become a real earworm for me in the last few days and even I'll show you is going the same way just not on the same scale. :P
Yes, same with me. "Sorry" is easily the best song on his new album for me now. "I'll Show You" has to grow on me more though...

JakeP wrote:2 (1) 2 Ariana Grande - Focus
"i've got one less problem without you"...oops, wrong song. I think! I do like Focus but it's such a rip off of Problem i was hoping that Ariana would release a new song that sounded fresh and different but it's just too similar to Problem. :(
Haha you're not the only one who thinks this sounds VERY familiar with her last lead single. That's actually really sad, i would've loved it when she came back with a R&B/ballad type of song. Let's hope the second single will be better, and no "Break Free"-copy (even when i adored that song and still do).

JakeP wrote:3 (3) 3 Adele - Hello
Six days left to go and i'm still anticipating the new Adele album. 4 weeks on, and Hello is still my favourite song at the moment, and i still keep watching the video on YouTube. This really has been the perfect way for Adele to start her 25 campaign.
Only one to go now :o Well, it leaked, but i don't listen to these leaks. I'm really excited! You will probably like this weeks charts...

JakeP wrote:4 (6) 5 Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You
5 (5) 7 Zara Larsson - Lush Life
Zara does the double. :P Lush life has had a brilliant run in my chart, ended up doing much better than i'd expected when the song first entered my chart. As for Never forget you, i agree it's certainly got one of the most cute videos of the year. Not really sure what i'd say my fave music video of the year is. I think Adele Hello would be my fave music video of the year considering the number of times i've gone and watched it back. It's just so beautiful. I do enjoy watching the video to Downtown by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis though.
I really hope an album follows soon! She has currently two big hits on her hand, so i hope we'll get something in early 2016. The whole release strategy is kinda weird when it comes to her, as "Lush Life" only gets released in early 2016 in the UK as the follow-up to "Never Forget You", while it was kinda the opposite everywhere else.
Well, i'm surprised at both songs performance on my charts too to be honest. Never expected her to do so good, as i didn't like her at all pre-"Lush Life"
Have to see "Downtown"'s video then... as i haven't seen that one yet

JakeP wrote:15 (NEW) 1 Coldplay - Adventure Of A Lifetime
It's always brilliant for me when Coldplay release a new song/album. They have become my favourite band and i love how they have evolved and experimented with their sound whilst still being very much Coldplay at heart. Adventure of a lifetime is such a joyous song, it's a really feel good type of song.
Glad youi like their new single as well. I'm not one of their biggest fans at all, but the last album was really good so i'm excited for the upcoming new album :)

JakeP wrote:Glad you enjoyed your holiday. Did you buy me a souvenir?
Haha i'm sorry but the only souvenirs i bought are keychains of these monkey

Wow, really glad to see you like so many entries on my charts :D :o
You will probably like this week's charts - i'll post them later today

Thanks a lot!
btw i didn't know you like/know Lindsey Stirling & pleased to see you like "In And Out Of Love" :D

Then there are some I'm going to check out in the very near future (tomorrow?), like Jaël, Anna Rossinelli, The Corrs (didn't know they had released something new), even Ariana and Justin if I'm in a good mood .

Just listened to a bunch of new stuff today, the albums by Little Mix and Ellie Goulding, Hailee Steinfeld's EP (I think I may prefer all three other tracks to "Love Myself!") and more. When it comes to Ellie's album I'm not really qualified yet since I've heard most songs just once, but part of the reason for that is that the song "Lost and Found" made a strong enough impression that I wanted to listen to that on repeat instead of hearing the other songs again... If I'd heard the album earlier in the week that song might have entered at #1 on my chart tomorrow; now because of lack of time it probably won't but there's always next week...
No problem! I didn't have the time to make some comments on your charts as well :)

Glad you like some entries, and i can't wait to hear your thoughts about Jaël and Anna Rossinelli. The Corrs will release a new album on the 27th november, and "Bring On The Night" is the lead single (but a disappointing one to be honest).

I still have to check out the album by Little Mix. I wasn't a big fan of the two singles "Black Magic" and "Love Me Like You", that's why my interest in the album isn't that big. Ellie Goulding's album is much better than expected. After some spins i really like the album now, even the promo track she released in the previous few weeks like "Something In The Way You Move" and "Lost And Found". I didn't like these at all at first, and now they're some of my favorite songs of the album and i'm loving them! I think she shouldn't have released them as promo tracks though, as they would be all great single choices...
Hailee's EP will enter the charts this week but won't make a good debut. "Love Myself" is my favorite song, and even that one wasn't a huge success on my charts... still excited to hear more music from her.

week 47/2015 – 19 november 2015 Hello on Purpose

Image
    Singles Top40
Just one day before the official album release of „25“, Adele returns back to the top with her comeback hit „Hello“. It’s only the third song this year to return to the top after debuting there, after Nightwish did so with „Élan“ and Lena with „Traffic Lights“. Romanian dance pop singer Inna scores another hit as her new single „Yalla“ debuts at #2. It’s her second highest peaking single ever, as only „More Than Friends“ peaked higher (it debuted and peaked at #1 in early 2013) and it's her tenth charts appearance overall, with all of them being Top10 hits. Justin Bieber’s former top hit „Sorry“ descends 1-3 in its fourth week.

It was a pretty quiet week when it comes to new entries, as there is only one more new entry apart from Inna’s „Yalla“. Missy Elliott, the queen of hip hop, was finally ready to release her comeback single called „WTF (Where They From) and immediately scores her first Top10 hit (#9). It’s also her first appearance on my charts as her last proper single was released ten years ago when i didn’t make a charts. There’s also a re-entry at #38 as Justin Bieber returns to the charts with „What Do You Mean?“.

Ariana Grande leaves the Top3 as „Focus“ is down 2-4. She’ll probably get some more entries soon, as her christmas singles tend to do well on my charts. Zara Larsson and MNEK slip 4-5 with „Never Forget You“, being in the Top10 for already seven weeks now which earns them their first Gold certification. Gwen Stefani stays at #6 with „Used To Love You", followed by Zara’s other hit „Lush Life“ (5-7). Anna Rossinelli are down 7-8 with their single „Bang Bang Bang“ while Selena Gomez closes the Top10 with „Same Old Love“. The song falls 8-10 in its tenth week, and despite having a weaker start than most of her previous singles, it’s just her fourth song to spend its first ten weeks in the Top10.

Birdy and Rhodes leave the Top10 after only one week as „Let It All Go“ is down 9-11. Jasmine Thompson also leaves that part as „Great Escape“ decreases 10-14. While Bastian Baker’s album isn’t doing that well, his single „Tattoo On My Brain“ enters the Top20 this week by climbing 23-12. The other new entry from Switzerland last week – „Pluto“ by Lo & Leduc – also gains some positions and becomes their second Top20 hit (27-19). Jaël, the fourth artist from Switzerland on my charts, stays in the Top20 as well, but „In Love Again“ loses some positions this week (12-16).

Lady GaGa just returned to the upper half last week with her piano ballad „Til It Happens To You“, and even climbs another position this week (18-17). The song gets certified with Gold, being her first release to get certified since „G.U.Y.“ went Platinum in 2014 (which basically means all Tony Bennett collaborations didn’t get a certification). Disclosure’s „Magnets“ (17-21), Ellie Goulding’s „On My Mind“ (16-22), Maria Mena’s „I Don’t Wanna See You With Her“ (20-28) and MØ’s „Kamikaze“ (19-30) leave the Top20. Maria Mena’s drop is probably even more disappointing than her debut, but maybe the upcoming album release can save the song from becoming her first underperformance. A few positions below, there’s Louane. The french singer reaches a new peak as „Avenir“ climbs 36-32 in its fifth week. Last but not least, there are two big celebrations, as „In And Out Of Love“ by Armin Van Buuren and Sharon Den Adel celebrates its 30th week on the charts (34-31) while Nightwish’s „Élan“ is on the charts for 40 weeks now (33-35).

Bastian Baker’s „Tattoo On My Brain“ is the biggest climber while „Kamikaze“ by MØ and „Me & The Rhythm“ by Selena Gomez (29-40) are the biggest losers this week.

.
    Album Top20
Ellie Goulding defends the top spot with her third album „Delirium“, which is now one of twelve albums that spent more than one single week on top of the album charts this year. All others are certified with Gold or more, so the chances for „Delirium“ to do so as well are pretty big. The biggest competition came from former teen idol Justin Bieber. The canadian singer released his third album „Purpose“ and enters the charts at #2 – one position better than the peak of his last effort „Believe“. His last album didn’t have legs though, so it will be interesting to see if „Purpose“ will have better longevity or not. Swiss pop singer Jaël is back up 4-3 with „Shuffle The Cards“, re-peaking in the Top3.

Lena slips 3-4 with „Crystal Sky“, followed by Inna’s self-titled album at #5 and Blackmore’s Night’s „All Our Yesterdays“, which both stays on the same position like last week. After three weeks in the Top2, Carrie Underwood’s current album „Storyteller“ drops 2-7. The country star will release the second single „Heartbeat“ soon, so this may give it another push again. Selena slips 7-8 with „Revival“, which gets certified with Gold this week. While Candice Night stays at #9 with „Starlight, Starbright“, One Direction get their third album entry as their fifth studio album „Made In The A.M.“ debuts at #10. So while they had a big fight with Justin Bieber everywhere, Justin wins this battle easily on my charts.

After a disappointing entry last week, Anastacia’s „Ultimate Collection“ slips 10-11. Demi Lovato’s „Confident“ keeps on falling, down 8-12 in its fifth week. A third new entry makes the charts this week, and it’s the debut EP by Hailee Steinfeld. The actress and singer already scored a Top10 notation with her debut single „Love Myself“, and just released an EP called „Haiz“ which enters the charts at #15.

    Airplay Top10
First of all, i'm overwhelmed by the feedback for the Airplay Top10. I didn't expect the majority being interested in it. While being on vacation during the last two weeks, it was obviously not possible to compile the airplay charts, and unfortunately, while compiling the full updates for these two weeks over the last few days, it was a pleasure to see how 'fast' an update is done and how fun it is doing it without that airplay charts. Since the change of LastFM this summer i always had to make a proper research when it comes to the correct plays. Doing this every week was very annoying and time consuming.

I was sure i'll decide about the future of the Airplay Charts in the new year and continue with it during 2015. But when i wanted to compile the airplay charts for this week yesterday evening, LastFM showed several wrong plays again, with some songs having less than half of its real plays, while some others had much more plays than they actually got within the last seven days. That's also why i decided to stop doing the airplay charts immediately! It hurts me a bit as i loved to see some plays as well, especially the record-breaking figures - for example when Nightwish debuted at #1 with 285 plays earlier this year. Last but not least, if LastFM starts to work properly again for me, i may start again.

Glad Ellie is still on top! Glad her album is dong good somewhere  not that it's flopping, but I'd've hoped it would have at least made #1 in the UK

I love Haiz! glad it's made an appearance on your chart!

in the past week I have fallen in love with Zara! she's great! and that's thanks to you, I thought I'd check her out after seeing how well Lush Life and NFY have done on your chart :D

Gwen's new song is great too! x100 better than BDL

I must admit I don't care about Kamikaze's big drop because I think it's so basic compared to all of No Mythologies to Follow!

ashame about your AirPlay chart as that was always fun to read!

"Stardust" was nice too, and the ESC singles from her first two albums were amazing. But CS is definitely her best album by faaaar for me too.

Sorry, Little Mix' release didn't interest me so far. It's on my 'to-check' list though
do check out GW because it's great! and yes I am in LOVE with Crystal Sky, I can't even at the perfection of Catapult and TL and Invisible (and the rest of the album   )

I have to say that I've never been a huge friend of Justin Bieber, but what I've heard from "Sorry" so far sounds pretty good, so I really want to give that song a proper spin later and possibly the whole album as well.

Nice to see Coldplay on your charts, it will have an appearance on mine as well :D

Regarding Gwen, have a look on my charts sometime this week - haha.

Great to see Adele returning to #1!

Looove to see the Missy entry :D
Looks like I found my way home

Any favourites?
It's definitely better than expected. Well, the singles are the clear faves, especially "Sorry", but "The Feeling", "Children" and "Life Is Worth Living" are great too :)

thankfulforkelly wrote:Glad Ellie is still on top!

I must admit I don't care about Kamikaze's big drop because I think it's so basic compared to all of No Mythologies to Follow!

ashame about your AirPlay chart as that was always fun to read!
...
do check out GW because it's great! and yes I am in LOVE with Crystal Sky, I can't even at the perfection of Catapult and TL and Invisible (and the rest of the album   )
To be honest i didn't like "Delirium" that much at first, but most tracks were big growers for me and now i'm loving the album. It's a shame she already released the best stuff as promo singles... i'm afraid she'll pick the wrong single choices and the album will be an underperformance for her

Wow that's great! Really glad you checked Zara out, she's like the european Rihanna when it comes to her voice and "Lush Life" & "Never Forget You" are two of the best tracks of the year. The ballad "Uncover" is great too :) I hope she releases an album soon!

To be honest "Kamikaze" is the first solo song from her that i've heard. It's nice but not outstanding...

I'll do so!
And glad to hear that, "Crystal Sky" is one of the best albums this year and seems so underrated. Shame Germany doesn't care :(

I hope you will like that song as it's one of his best releases ever! It's in his Top3 for me together with "As Long As You Love Me" and "All Around The World" :)

Great! I think they're new single is really good :)

I already did. Glad the song grew on you :) And i hope you won't be disappointed by Missy's position this week...

thanks so much for all comments

week 48/2015 – 26 november 2015 it’s all about Adele

Image
    Singles Top40
Adele reigns the Singles Top40 for a third week as „Hello“ spends a second consecutive week there after its re-peak a week ago. Justin Bieber recovers 3-2 with „Sorry“, followed by the first new entry, coming from Australian hitmaker Guy Sebastian whose back with a new single. The singer was the first participant ever for Australia on the Eurovision Song Contest this year with his single „Tonight Again“, which peaked at #7. The accompanying album „Madness“ peaked at #5 and stayed on the charts for 13 weeks, being one of the most successful albums of the year. It even spawned three more singles with „Like A Drum“ (#15), „Mama Ain’t Proud“ (#20) and „Come Home With Me“ (#26). The new single from an upcoming, yet untitled album is called „Black & Blue“ and immediately becomes his highest peaking entry so far, as it enters the charts at #3.

There are another three new entries and one re-entry on the charts this week. The second highest new entry is inside of the Top10 as well and belongs to canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen. While all four singles of her second album „Kiss“ topped the singles charts, the result for her third album „E-Mo-Tion“ is looking a bit worse as only the second single „Run Away With Me“ topped the singles charts so far. „Your Type“ was chosen to be the third single now, but fails to make a similar impact and even becomes her first song to miss a Top3 debut by entering the charts at #6, which is obviously still a good entry. Ten positions lower there’s Adam Lambert, who shares a similar fate. All of his previous five entries were Top10 entries, but his new single „Another Lonely Night“ enters the charts at #16. The last entry belongs to Jess Glynne, who scores another entry from her debut album „I Cry When I Laugh“ as „Take Me Home“ debuts at #39. As mentioned, there’s also a re-entry on the charts. Sam Smith already made a short appearance with his bond theme „Writing’s On The Wall“ a few weeks ago. Due to the movie, the song now re-enters the charts at #14 – its second best position so far!

Zara Larsson and MNEK are back up 5-4 with „Never Forget You“. Zara’s second entry „Lush Life“ is about to leave the Top10 (7-10), but gets certified with Gold this week as well. Inna’s „Yalla“ falls 2-5, while the two AMA performers Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani lose some positions, as Ariana’s „Focus“ is down 4-7 followed by Gwen’s „Used To Love You“ (6-8). Just when one entry from Switzerland leaves the Top10, another one climbs into them… and this time it’s Bastian Baker. To my own surprise, his „Tattoo On My Brain“ increases 12-9 in its third week.

The swiss entry which has to leave the Top10 is „Bang Bang Bang“ by Anna Rossinelli, which is down 8-13. Their third album „Takes Two To Tango“ will be released tomorrow and could give the song a push again. Selena Gomez‘ „Same Old Love“ leaves that territory as well (10-11), just like „WTF“ by Missy Elliott, which tumbles 9-36. American charts empress Lana Del Rey is back in the Top20 with her current single „Music To Watch Boys To“, which is currently her least successful release so far. Newcomer Charlie Puth didn’t reach a very high peak with his debut hit „Marvin Gaye“, but the single still showed some longevity. It falls 13-19 in its ninth week this week, and now also becomes his first single to be certified with Gold.

The anticipation for the upcoming Nightwish concert this saturday is getting bigger, which is also the main reason behind the climb for their „Élan“ (35-25). Concerts can have big effects on my charts, so it’s expected to see an even bigger jump for the song and maybe one or more re-entries for the band next week. The increase for „In And Out Of Love“ by Armin Van Buuren and Sharon Den Adel isn’t that big, but the song climbs back into the Top30 this week (31-28). It already spent a record-setting 11 weeks below the Top30 – and this week, its longevity paid off as the song gets certified with Platinum.

Nightwish’s „Élan“ is the biggest climber while Missy Elliott’s „WTF (Where They From)“ is the biggest loser this week.

    Album Top20
Adele is unstoppable. The british songstress easily broke the record for the biggest debut in the US and is on track to do the same in the UK. The lead single „Hello“ is her first song with multiple weeks on top of my charts, and so it’s not a very big surprise to see her third album „25“ getting a top debut on the Album Top20 as well. The bigger surprise is the fact, that „25“ is her first top album on my charts, as „21“ peaked at #2… but it did it for 12 weeks. No other album was that unlucky, as no other album came even close to peak at #2 or lower for so many weeks.

Ellie Goulding slips 1-2 with „Delirium“, sharing the same chartrun like „Halcyon“ so far, followed by Inna whose back up 5-3 with her self-titled album. Justin Bieber’s „Purpose“ is holding on better than his previous release, but still falls down 2-4 after the entry a week ago. There’s a second entry on the charts apart from Adele, and it’s Enya. The irish singer released „Dark Sky Island“ as her comeback album and lands her first album notation ever at #5. Lena’s „Crystal Sky“ is down 4-6, Jaël’s „Shuffle The Cards“ drops 3-7, Blackmore’s Night fall 6-8 with „All Our Yesterdays“ and Carrie Underwood’s „Storyteller“ descends 7-9. Blackmore’s Night’s album is already in the Top10 for ten consecutive weeks, being just the 7th album to do so this year. The last entry in the Top10 belongs to Anastacia. The singer released her „Ultimate Collection“ three weeks ago and already debuted at #10 in its debut week. After a mild second week drop, the album is re-peaking this week (11-10).

Selena Gomez‘ current album „Revival“ has already spawned two of the biggest hits of the year with „Good For You“ and „Same Old Love“, but it’s still underperforming for Selena’s standards as it already leaves the Top10 after only six weeks, going down 8-11 this week. Candice Night’s solo album „Starlight, Starbright“ also leaves the upper half, as it falls down to #15 after two weeks at #9. The finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish re-enters the charts at #13 with their latest release „Endless Forms Most Beautiful“. The album has a chance of jumping back to the top next week, as their swiss concert will be held this saturday and concerts usually have a big effect on my charts.

Queen Adele is destroying your charts as well! - Rightly so!

That debut for Guy Sebastian's next single is great! It's such a shame that the song hasn't been released in Germany. I guess they wait until he does some promo here.. otherwise it doesn't make any sense to hold it back. I've already checked iTunes to finally buy it twice!

"Same Old Love" is about to finally crack the US Top10 and now it's the first week outside of yours :(

Nice to see "Writing's On The Wall" is back and what an amazing re-entry! Great to see (and to read) that the movie made you fall in love with it again!

And another great update for "Élan". Something's getting excitied about attending Nightwish's concert :D

Lovely to see two Lena singles next to each other!

Coldplay's chart-run is a bit disappointing, though. Hopefully, the release of their upcoming album will bring back some love!

7x Gold for "21" is insane. Will "25" top it? :D

Hey, nice! I didn't realise that Guy Sebastian had a new single, I'll have to check it out, his Eurovision entry was great. And Anna Rossinelli's was too, nice to see her on here. ^^
And Adele everywhere, reminds me that I didn't listen to 25 yet :D
