For the second week running, the Billboard Friday bulletin did not include the regular "By The Numbers" feature, which is the source for the total sales stats that appear in this thread.

Is anyone aware of another source - all I'm looking for is YTD total album sales this year vs last year.

I suspect sales for the last 2 weeks are well down on 2014 levels despite the incredible numbers for Adele's "25".

Hi Oldbloke, have you any idea what the chances are of Adele's 19 entering the Y/E top 200? It must've sold ~100k this year so far?

Yes, it has a pretty good chance - it's down to week 52/53 sales.

I have it on 94,000 as of week 50, and HITS are showing 15,700 for week 51.

Yes - it's sold 5.56 million - in week 51 "1989" overtakes it to become Taylor's 2nd biggest seller.

I have these…

Chris Brown - X 404,000
Trey Songz - Trigga 417,000
Father John Misty - I Love You, Honeybear 94,000
Courtney Barnett - Sometimes I Sit and Think... 90,000
Lamb of God - VII: Sturm Und Drang 94,000
Tame Impala - Currents 109,000

The Dwight Yoakham album had sold 72,000 to week 37 and the Aaron Watson 61,000 to week 32. I doubt they've sold that much since.

The pure album sales element I would guess lies in the 15-25% range for the Skrillex and Major Lazer albums, and the 30-40% range for X Ambassadors. Probably not much help, but gives you a very rough indication.
