Apparently the last “promo” song for reputaion

The fifteen-second promo, which shows Taylor performing at a piano, reveals ten seconds of the song -- all melody, no lyrics. But we do know which song it is now -- "New Year's Day," the final track from Reputation. "New Year's Day" is the fifth song Taylor's released from Reputation so far -- and it'll be the last, considering the album officially comes out in under 24 hours.
Taylor's performance during tonight's Scandal -- during a break in the show, not as part of the show itself -- is not only her first TV appearance in support of the album, it's also being billed as her first performance of a new song in three years. It was recorded in the living room of her home in Rhode Island in front of more than 100 invited fans.
A four-minute extended version of Taylor's performance of "New Year's Day" will also air Friday at 9 p.m. EST on Freeform during The Duff, airing at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Scandal airs tonight at 9:00 ET on ABC. Reputation will be officially released at midnight.

This is the first song I listened to. It really is beautiful and I loved it on first listen. Same way I felt about Clean on 1989.

She's actually releasing this as the new single to US Country Radio.

^^ Yes, indeed! ( )
BMLG has officially sent this track to Country for immediate adds and airplay on November 15, 2017.
Will not be serviced to any other format.

Shouldn't this be moved to the new Country forum?

This song is seriously amazing. I haven't been a big fan of the singles she released from the album (I like them, but that's it) - but this one is on a different level. Wow. I'm really impressed.

What a gorgeous song.

Good move by her team tbh.

It's a nice little song, not within the Top 5 from the parent album though.
