Hilary Duff called and wants her "X marks the spot where we fell apart" line back... Very clearly the best song though (Getaway Car). The rest of the album feels kind of nonessential but there are a few songs that will probably prove to be growers.

How people haven't mentioned Don't Blame Me is a mystery to me.

Finally she did a successful experiment by mixing gospel and pop. The result is pretty bad ass I'd say! Amazing build up, she even tries a Mariah Carey at the very end.

I'd give her an A+ for that song.

Yes - it's heavy.
Yes - it's not your ear-friendly Taylor #1 hit.
But it's massive.

I don't really like the gospel-ish vibe mixed into DOn't Blame Me but maybe it'll grow on me...

Don't Blame Me sounds like it was heavily influenced by Hozier and Rag'n'Bone Man. Gorgeous is gorgeous and stays underrated.

SO I feel like these are hte obvious single choices, I hope End Game gets released next just to get it out of the way...after that I'm fine with any of these as singles:

End Game - total bop, would do well just with the strong features
I Did Something Bad - so good but might feel a bit too heavy during the holiday season...
Getaway Car - good anytime
Dancing With Our Hands Tied - this would probably be nicer for the spring

Delicate might be my absolute fave from the album. It's sooo sweet and such a relief from the aggressive and heavy tone of the album. I don't mind the autotune.

Don't know if it's posted before but the baby voice on Gorgeous belongs to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold's daughter James. :D

I enjoyed the album on first listen. It's not as instant as 1989, nor is it as poppy, but I don't think it will alienate her fanbase or the many members of the general public who took to that album. I was concerned with the reports of the heavy production that the album's main focus would be on the musical arrangement and that Taylor's keen ear for a great melody would take a backseat, but there is plenty of melodic goodness here.

I voted for Don't Blame Me, Getaway Car, Dancing with Our Hands Tied, Dress and This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things in the poll.
