"Los Ageless" by St. Vincent had a similar (or even worse) fate – it climbed from #4 to #3 in my chart but dropped out from #8 here.Blondini wrote:last week:

Fickle nature of releases and huge difference between 6 points and 3 - mine.
Oops ! I have now amended this, and re-written the commentary accordingly, above. This arose because I felt I had to begin a new spreadsheet for this week's chart, as the previous one had become increasingly slow to operate. I think this was due to my copying and pasting some of the new top fives in from the webpage - I ended up with a lot of cells having a little symbol that I think represents some kind of hyperlink option menu, and I couldn't find any way of getting rid of them . . . . .JakeP wrote:Just one correction here CZB.CZB wrote: 18 ---- 01 18 SEEING BLIND - NIALL HORAN AND MAREN MORRIS ( JakeP 4 / phoenix98 2 )Seeing blind is a re-entry. Two weeks ago it was also #2 in my chart.

Earlier in the day, it seemed quite possible that she could lose the number one - not to Kelly Clarkson, but to Camila Cabello. But "Anywhere" went on to gain points yesteday, while "Havana" just kept losing them (not only in your chart ! )JakeP wrote:Also amazing to see Rita Ora holding strong at #1 with a comfortable lead.

Yes, others who had charted those last week gave up on them this time, so they're among twenty-seven tracks with three points from one chart only. Taylor Swift fell seventy-six places, St Vincent fell eighty-seven places . . . . .setg1 wrote:"Los Ageless" by St. Vincent had a similar (or even worse) fate – it climbed from #4 to #3 in my chart but dropped out from #8 here.
For some reason i'm not that surprised by this news. 2017 hasn't been a stellar year for big UK Mix forum favourites where the majority all agree on the same song. Those that did appeal to the majority at the same time were equally short lived so i guess everything just balances out.CZB wrote:On the plus side, however, this inspired me to begin work on the year-end UKmixParade earlier this week - transferring all the points details from the first forty-four weeks of the year to a further spreadsheet and spending several hours doing all the combining and calculations so that I can see how 2017 as a whole is beginning to look. For once, there are several strong contenders for the overall number one ! I don't think I'm going to be able to resist the temptation now to add in each week's new points within a day or two of them being available . . . . .
LOL funny you mention that as Havana was set to drop down to #5 in my chart, then this happened...CZB wrote:Earlier in the day, it seemed quite possible that she could lose the number one - not to Kelly Clarkson, but to Camila Cabello.
