Great top 10 - double Sia! That's twice this year.

Out of curiosity, did anyone chart Walk on Water in their top five?

Just one correction here CZB. Seeing blind is a re-entry. Two weeks ago it was also #2 in my chart. :D
Oops ! I have now amended this, and re-written the commentary accordingly, above. This arose because I felt I had to begin a new spreadsheet for this week's chart, as the previous one had become increasingly slow to operate. I think this was due to my copying and pasting some of the new top fives in from the webpage - I ended up with a lot of cells having a little symbol that I think represents some kind of hyperlink option menu, and I couldn't find any way of getting rid of them . . . . .

On the plus side, however, this inspired me to begin work on the year-end UKmixParade earlier this week - transferring all the points details from the first forty-four weeks of the year to a further spreadsheet and spending several hours doing all the combining and calculations so that I can see how 2017 as a whole is beginning to look. For once, there are several strong contenders for the overall number one ! I don't think I'm going to be able to resist the temptation now to add in each week's new points within a day or two of them being available . . . . .

JakeP wrote:Also amazing to see Rita Ora holding strong at #1 with a comfortable lead. 8-)
Earlier in the day, it seemed quite possible that she could lose the number one - not to Kelly Clarkson, but to Camila Cabello. But "Anywhere" went on to gain points yesteday, while "Havana" just kept losing them (not only in your chart ! )

For some reason i'm not that surprised by this news. 2017 hasn't been a stellar year for big UK Mix forum favourites where the majority all agree on the same song. Those that did appeal to the majority at the same time were equally short lived so i guess everything just balances out. It will be an interesting end of year countdown. I doubt any new songs released between now and end of December will challenge for the end of year #1 either.

LOL funny you mention that as Havana was set to drop down to #5 in my chart, then this happened...

It's been two years since I posted my first personal chart on UKMIX! :D However, we will have to wait until December for the official anniversary of the setg1 top five – in the first few weeks, the chart mostly consisted of old songs I listened to, before I created a top five specifically for new tracks I liked.

Portugal. The Man's "Feel It Still" has been one of the most successful tracks in the last month. However, it had only spent one week at #1 before its return to the top this week. It spent the last five weeks between the positions #2 and #4. This week's only new entry at #3 is... yet another song from My Little Pony! :P As a result of this, setg1 top five history has been made – Shannon Chan-Kent becomes the first artist to chart simultaneously with three songs, appearing at #2, #3 and #4. However, as two of these songs are collaborations, it is yet to be achieved by a main artist.

This week's dropout is St. Vincent's "Los Ageless" after two weeks and a #3 peak.

1. (4.) Portugal. The Man: Feel It Still (2 weeks at #1)
2. (1.) Rebecca Shoichet, Ashleigh Ball, Kazumi Evans, Shannon Chan-Kent & Andrea Libman: Flawless
3. (-) Rebecca Shoichet, Andrea Libman, Ashleigh Ball, Shannon Chan-Kent & Kazumi Evans: Rise Up!
4. (2.) Shannon Chan-Kent: Coinky-Dink World
5. (5.) Khalid: Young Dumb & Broke

Thanks again for the comments this week ! :D

Looking ahead to tonight, none of the likely new entries so far are in more than one top five - but there could be a couple of re-entries inside the top twenty, from Pink and Taylor Swift. Meanwhile, top ten contenders include Axwell ^ Ingrosso and Shakira featuring Nicky Jam - and, although she didn't quite make it to number one in the UK yesterday, it very much looks as if Rita Ora will be our forum favourite for a third week. But there are still twelve hours and forty minutes left for further new and updated charts to make an impact . . . . .

Week 431

Thirty-three of the personal charts combined into last week's UKmixParade have been updated in the past seven days - but not the chart of whoawhoa, now dropping out. This leaves a total of forty-two contributors, and 630 points shared among 171 different tracks, twenty-nine of which are at number one in one individual chart but nowhere to be found in any of the others. Everyone has at least two of their top five in the overall top eighty this time, while the entire top fives of ConstantinosV and luckyONE are somewhere here.

There are nineteen brand new entries - and the only one in two top fives is from Taylor Swift. However, "Getaway Car" only scores four points, so it's nowhere near making the highest debut ! But she has three other hits in the top twenty - the most impressive of seven re-entries, and two climbers, one of them back in the top ten. Meanwhile, Camila Cabello and Portugal. The Man rise to new peaks in the top three - but, with more points than those two have between them, it's an easy third week as the forum favourite for Rita Ora and "Anywhere".

I've edited all of that in now ! Erotica has always credited the song only to David Guetta in his personal chart - but I heard it as the highest new entry in the Dutch top forty on Friday afternoon, and the full supporting cast were all mentioned, so I probably should have spotted the omissions here yesterday.

I have also taken the opportunity to correct another typo that has gone equally unnoticed for a few weeks, by adding a previously missing F into STEFFLON . . . . . :D

It's not the most exciting week in the setg1 top five, as there are no debuts. However, we have a new number one: "Rise Up!" from (surprise, surprise) a recent My Little Pony: Equestria Girls short. While there have been earlier charts with the same artist appearing at #1 and #2, this week is definitely an unprecedented case: the same five singers appear on both of the top songs (and one of them also performs the song at #4). Portugal. The Man drops to #3, while Khalid is showing exceptional consistency: it's his fourth week in a row at #5.

1. (3.) Rebecca Shoichet, Andrea Libman, Ashleigh Ball, Shannon Chan-Kent & Kazumi Evans: Rise Up! (1 week at #1)
2. (2.) Rebecca Shoichet, Ashleigh Ball, Kazumi Evans, Shannon Chan-Kent & Andrea Libman: Flawless
3. (1.) Portugal. The Man: Feel It Still
4. (4.) Shannon Chan-Kent: Coinky-Dink World
5. (5.) Khalid: Young Dumb & Broke

Apologies - I don't know how I managed to have the points for Mogwai and the Breeders' hits in your chart reversed in the last two weeks, but I have now amended the two most recent UKmixParades to reflect them correctly. :D

No problem - thanks for amending.

Edit: Given the titles of the songs in question, I guess it was a 'traffic' conflagration at work!
