Thanks for that wonderful review and I'm really pleased you like them.
The charts you mentioned (Top Pops in particular) are terribly hard to find. I have most but not all and so can't produce a book until I did have them all. The same goes for Mersey Beat as I think I have them all but not sure.
The 1980's saw lots of charts appear including those Indie ones you mention and my aim is to see what I can find.
As to the BBC charts a book on those is planned as is one for the NME charts of the 1960's.
My aim is to produce something that covers the things I would want in a chart book and that's why I started with the UK Singles charts as the more recent books have errors they don't seem to want to fix. Doing this has allowed me to fix almost all of the title errors and when the album book comes out you will not recognise some of the albums in a side by side comparison as they have changed so much. But I strive for accuracy and go with the title as shown on the cover.
You are right Record Mirror carried an R and B chart I the 1969's and Record Retailer took it as well. I'm always open to ideas but I suspect that those smaller charts will prove a very tiny readership and I would need to make sure I could recoup the costs of getting the charts at least. That said, there are always possibilities!
