'Joan of Arc' is beautiful, my favourite Madonna song of the past 10 years. It should have been a single!

It's one of my favourite Madonna songs ever, and I agree; it should have been a single.

Strong #1!
Still their best collaboration to date and probably even David's best track ever.

Lovely re-entry for "Toy". It's a worthy winner for sure, though it's not my favorite song from this year.

Nice to see "Homemade Dynamite". This should have been a big hit for Lorde.

Cold War and especially Many Moons - very early Janelle :) I love Cold War - my appreication for that song has grown since it initially came out. Sorry, I knwo I'm looking a few days back :)

And Titanium was such a great song - that was a great year for music in general.

I think "Titanium" is the best song for both parties involved actually. Glad to hear you appreciate "Toy" and "Homemade Dynamite". I think everything on Melodrama should have been a #1 hit.

It really is! It's this high-energy atomic blast of sheer will, optimism, and resilience. Absolute brilliance even after I've played it so many times.

I think "Cold War" and "Many Moons" will be popping in and out for a few more weeks to come, so nice to know that you appreciate both of them.

And, yes, 2011 was a fantastic year in music, so much so that "Titanium" ended up 'only' at #2 on my year-end chart. If I could redo that, I'd put it at #1, though.

How funny to see John Denver there - I was at a soccer game on Wednesday and they altered the lyrics to "Take Me Home, Mountain Roads. To the place i belong - Colorado" and my son though those were the actual lyrics :D

Anyhow, I', always so delighted to find someone listening to a ZZ Ward song on here. especailly one less know like that! I really like your top 20s for Thursday and Friday.

What do you think of Ocean?

Aw, you should definitely introduce him to the original version. My mom shared the original version with me a few years ago, and I've loved it ever since. Such a classic!

I think most Shameless USA fans appreciate that song to some extent.

I usually don't like Martin Garrix's output, and Khalid is hit or miss for me, so I went in with few expectations, and came out of it thinking it was rather decent. It sounds like a grower.

It seems that you checked out the 'Ring Ring' album by ABBA. It contains some good and some bad songs. They still had to find themselves musically.

Yeah, I always said I would explore ABBA's discography in full, so it was about time I got to it, and where better to start than the beginning?

I'd say their first album is pretty good! The first eight or so tracks are all pretty good (ranging from 7.7/10 to 8.2/10) and even the worst tracks don't really fall below 7/10 for me. It was a very consistent listen. I'm excited for LP #2.

Also, how hilarious is it that you're sporting a Stan avi, whilst I have an Angel one!

Have to admit i didn't hear your current #1 yet. Not because i'm not interested, but simply because there's so much new music out at the moment that i don't really have the time to check out everything as much as i want, so i kept a few releases from last week on my 'to do' list for this Friday, with "Ocean" being one of them

"Bed" was one of the new releases last week i was really looking forward to and i didn't get disappointed. I love this! Definitely Nicki's best in years and i hope it turns out to be a nice hit for them.

Nice to see some entries for Christina.

Alessia Cara got the same fate as "Ocean".

Need to dive a bit more into 'The Carters' project, but somehow this is the first time i'm really rooting for them and am excited to see their chart performances.

Great chart overall :D

You definitely deserve some credit for that!

Yeah, the Carters' album is meh. There's nothing at all that I'm interested in listening to again.

There's no particular reason. They're just an act that I've always wanted to explore a bit more, and I'm finally getting around to it. I wouldn't put it past me for a tribute to be borne from this exploration, though.

Benny wrote:Well we both love 'Pose' so it's no big surprise!
It's moreso because the two characters are coupled up (at the moment).

Well, you liked "Youth", so hopefully you'll like "Ocean", too. I'm excited to read your thoughts on it when you get around to playing it.

I don't think I'd recommend the Carters' album, but maybe you'll enjoy it more than I did.
