Now that is one Great Classic Rock album! Any serious rock fan should check Robin Trower out. He is a great bluesy guitarist and he had a fantastic singer in Jimmy Dewar.

"Bridge of Sighs" was the first of 4 gold albums by Trower, and it is still his best...

I've checked out all the UK chart history for the Stones lately. The only (! :) ) discrepancy found was this album above.
All the books say: 15 weeks.
Anyone can comment on this? Han? Thanks! :)

My GOODNESS Hanboo, thank you sooo much for those - you've worked sooo hard! I never knew Keisha White's "Don't Fool A Woman In Love" peaked at #90, us fans thought it was #88, so thanks a million for clearing that up! :D Also for the Beverley Knight chart runs - I knew the basic top 75 runs but I had no idea about what happened to them after that, so again thank you! :D

Do you know where her album "Seventeen" charted at all? You might not know because it flopped badly but it's worth a try I guess.

If I could ask, could I have the Terri Walker, M.I.A. and a long shot - Kevin Mark Trail chart runs if you have them please? Sorry to be a pain!

You don't sound rude, Sajjad, just naive and impatient.
I didn't miss your original request, I made a note of it.
You just have to wait your turn, on basis of the 'first come, first served' principle.

At the moment, you're #6 in line.

Yes I can.
The 1 week difference is due to the January 2, 1971 chart. This chart was never published, because there was no Record Retailer that week.
Therefore, the chart is frozen in my database.

However, the chart books have a chart for that week.
Tony Brown's chart book states on page viii:
2 Jan 71: "No Record Retailer published, though charts were compiled and used".
Apparently, "Ya-Ya" was not charted that week.

Thanks for checking the Stones' CH!

Han! As usual, thanks for the Rolling Stones info. I didn't know about the "frozen" week at the time. Very interesting!
Short question! You can answer by PMail if you want.
Was there Loleatta Holloway's Love Sensatione ever in the US charts? It comes back again and again as a sample. Now it's finally on its own in the UK charts. Could you answer, please? Thanks!

I am newly registered to this site but have been looking at the material for quite a long time. Was hoping someone could direct me to or post the Top 50-100 albums for the UK and US for the years 1969 and 1970 as I don`t seem to be able to find those. I have seen Top 10-20 for those years for the UK and all the way through the 70`s...but not lists that go beyond those positions.Would appreciate any assistance with that information....Take care

Thats because that was all that was published at the time. In 1969 Record Retailer (which compiled the chart) printed only a Top 15 (or Top 20-24 later in the year). In 1970 the chart fluctuated between Top 40 and 77 because that was all that was printed.
