Hey guys!

Let's think of some songs that make us smile... not dance (or also), not fall in love, not to recall childhood memories, but that put a smile on our face.

I have some of these:

Queen - Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon
Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry, Be Happy
Natalie Cole - (This Could Be) An Everlasting Love
Nina Simone - My Baby Just Cares For Me
John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John - Summer Nights
Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star
Des'ree - Life (I've always thought this song was written to create some positive feeling around)
The Beatles - Yellow Submarine

For the low days, this can be a good tracklist for your iPod.

Ciao!

Several Mama Cass songs always brings a smile to my face, thanks mostly to their inclusion in the Beautiful Thing soundtrack...

"It's Getting Better"
"One Way Ticket"
"Make Your Own Kind Of Music"
"Dream A Little Dream Of Me"
"Move In A Little Closer Baby"

And also, Marvin Gaye's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" always puts me in a good mood. :D
"I want a man who's kind and understanding. Is that too much to ask of a millionaire?"

Even before I read your post the #1 I was gonna mention is Des'ree Life lol. I listen to that all the time. The lyrics are so basic and comical but it's such a good song.

Lighthouse Family's Lost In Space cheers me up. :D I love Lifted too. I think one of the reasons Lost In Space is poignant for me, is i can remember the song playing when i was going to pick my Dad up from hospital with my Mom once and it was just a lovely time.
