OMG Cookie is giving LIFE!!!!!  Portia isn’t far behind either.

The show is good but Terence Howard is awful in his role. I’m looking forward to the coming episode based purely on Taraji P Henson.

Yeah I agree, luckily with the illness he's been given, he won't make it past the 3rd or 4th season if it keeps getting renewed.

My sister made me watch this with her and it's not bad. I'm not sure there's a character I can really champion, but Cookie and Jamal are great. Jamal's brothers are hot messes though.

I didn't see that curveball with Tiana coming. Don't care too much for her, Hakeem, or anyone not named Cookie or Jamal, though. I'm interested to see how Jamal's song does. He better not flop!

Is anybody else watching this?

It was nice to have a Jamal-centred episode for once, but that end confused me. Jamal's a father? :o Or is it Lucious's child?

I'm watching :P I did not expect Raven to be in this  the second I heard her voice I knew it was her, love her so much.
Cookie was amazing as usual. Hakim( or however you spell it) is starting to piss me off, he better take a seat soon. :-?

What do you guys think of the music in this so far? Tbh everything except You Can Keep Your Money has been subpar for me.

I love this show. Cookie is a brilliant character.

Jamal is the only son that deserves to be famous but there's no way he's getting that company. Hakim is such an annoying stupid brat.

Raven showing up was such a nice surprise. I hope she's going to stick around for a long time.

As far as the music is concerned, it's okay. There are some nice songs but they all sound like album leftovers.

I think all the music in the show is pretty mediocre.

Well the musical numbers aren't as prominent as Glee. There more played in the background or on radio/tv with maybe one actual performance every episode, it's exactly the same as Nashville but with Hip/hop/r&b instead of country.
Cookie is rachet as hell  reminds me of Tamar Braxton.

I like it. The acting is a bit iffy in parts but I've enjoyed it. I love Taraji.

Ugh, I'm disgusted. Why does this have to be the ghetto glee? I hate that people associate anything involving black people "Ghetto"

I like the productions. It's just the lyrics are dumb.

And it's not gay glee because those songs are sprinkled covers...these songs are original.

The older brother could have mi babies though. Him sexy.

Cookie in tonight's episode >>>

This is her show really. Everyone else is pretty much just supporting her.

I'm still waiting on a DNA test to confirm whether or not that's Jamal's daughter. Andre almost lost it tonight. I wonder when he'll detonate. Hakeem continues to be blah. Lucious was likeable for the first time ever, though.

Good episode this week! "You're So Beautiful" is the first song I've heard from the show that I'd actually download. Jamal sang it so beautifully, and I loved how he used it to come out. I also like his new love interest. Lucious and his homophobic self can take several seats.

Andre scared the crap out of me in that studio scene. Thank goodness he didn't go through with it, but he's just a ticking time bomb now.

I can't believe how successful this show has become! I'm a fan, but I never expected this kind of response.

Couldn't Jamal wait until Lucious died? At least he came out in a great way!

I really thought that Andre was going to do it. Stupid moron. He's more immature than Hakeem.

I hope we get to see Raven again. Sooner rather than later.

Did they make Hakeem a tad bit more likeable, with his bratty self?

Loving this, Cookie is such a powerful yet likeable character. I love Jamal but have a feeling fame will turn him into a bitch.

Good episode last night! It's nice to see the family coming together again. Andre has just about unravelled, though. :(
