Next single of "Witness", she already shot the music video. It's also listed under new singles by Radio1 in the UK.

I really like the song and it's one of my favourites, so I am happy with that

What in the earth happened to Roulette? Why oh why...they released a bunch of different promo and official singles but the obvious one has been completely ignored for unknown reasons.

It's a good song for sure, but i think "Roulette" would have been the better choice. There are also like two other songs i would've preferred... but as i said, still a good choice, and i hope it does well for her.

Overall I am so confused about this era. First she releases the song that sounds the most like her past stuff sonically (chained) and then then releases two songs back to back that are sonically also similair (Bon/Swish) and now we get a cute album track as single, while Roulette gets paid dust? The album is actually Pretty diverse and she leaves some of those gems unreleased. This album made me a solid fan, so Pretty dissapointed

The song isn’t bad, but the sing-songy chorus turns me off and I don’t think it’s radio single material. Especially given the lukewarm reception of this album and the failure of its last 2 singles.

I love this song! It was definitely a clear choice between this and "Roulette" for the next single. I doubt it's going to be a big hit for Katy but "Witness" definitely deserves more singles and a chance to shine.

I refuse to stream any other song on this album besides “Roulette”.

I keep streaming it 10 times a day. She can release any other single she wants. I won’t give those songs my 0.0018 cents per play! #JusticeForRoulette

^ haha...

Yeah it's really weird she's not going with "Roulette", which seemed like the only obvious single choice left. But as MusicRecords said, "Roulette" seems to be the "Legendary Lovers" (or also "Walking On Air") of "Witness" :(

This will be lucky to break the Spotify top 200.

I've only played this song once (when playing the album), but I remember it being poor. This was the track with the awful "Marilyn Monroe in a monster truck" line, right?

They'd have been better pushing Save As Draft as a proper single or releasing Tsunami. Anything on this album would flop, they might as well release one of the better tracks.

At least now Save as Draft was not the worst release from the album.

at this point, This is basically Katy's ARTPOP. The Swish Swish Video might've done better if it dropped somewhere around the end of June just after the album and the hype around it was more instead of August where it was pretty much completely overshadowed by Taylor dropping LWYMMD and it's video that weekend.

Like ARTPOP there seems to be an uncertainty to what the next single will be and they're shuffling through options with no real push, (Save As Draft, Hey Hey Hey) whilst Roulette is just sitting there glaring obvious as the fan fave.

Just finish the Witness tour, Do the American Idol thing, and come back in mid 2019 with something maybe. Releasing Roulette off the back of her American Idol slot early next year might do something to close the era (live shows usually start around end of February/start of March by past seasons right), but yeah. I don't mind Hey Hey Hey, but the overall handling of this era could've been done a bit differently perhaps IMO.

Not the best choice.

I'm very surprised there's going to be another Witness single altogether.
