So the idea is I will present one album every round and you guys decide what singles you would have released (with a little explanation, if you fancy).

You can pick all the songs from the album, also the ones that were actually released as singles, up to a maximum of 5

At the end of each round I will calculate which songs were the most popular. Maybe in the end we can even do a survivor of those tracks.
Results:

Ariana Grande | Dangerous Woman:'Into You', 'Side To Side', 'Dangerous Woman', 'Greedy', 'Be Alright'.
Beyoncé | BEYONCÉ: 'Drunk In Love', 'Partition', 'Pretty Hurts', 'Mine', 'XO'.
Bruno Mars | Unorthodox Jukebox: 'Locked Out Of Heaven', 'When I Was Your Man', 'Treasure', Gorilla', 'Moonshine'.
Christina Aguilera | Stripped: 'Beautiful', 'Fighter', Dirrty', 'Can't Hold Us Down', 'Infatuation'.
Janet Jackson| Damita Jo: 'All Nite (Don't Stop)', 'Just A Little While', 'Island Life', 'My Baby', 'R&B Junkie'.
Jennifer Lopez | J.LO: 'Love Don't Cost A Thing', 'Play', 'Ain't It Funny', 'Walking On Sunshine', 'I'm Real'.
Justin Timberlake | FutureSex/LoveSounds: 'SexyBack', 'My Love', 'What Goes Around..', LoveStoned', 'Until The End Of Time'.
Kylie Minogue | X: 'In My Arms', 'Wow', 'The One', '2 Hearts', 'Like A Drug'.
Madonna | Rebel Heart: 'Living For Love', 'Rebel Heart', Devil Pray', Ghosttown', 'Wash All Over Me'.
Mariah Carey | Butterfly: 'Honey', 'My All', 'Butterfly', 'The Roof', Breakdown'.
Michael Jackson | Invincible: 'You Rock My World, 'Whatever Happens', 'Butterflies', 'Heartbreaker', 'Unbreakable'.
Miley Cyrus | Bangerz: 'We Can't Stop', 'Wrecking Ball', 'SMS (Bangerz)', '4x4)', 'Adore You'.
Nelly Furtado | Loose: 'Maneater', 'Promiscuous', 'All Good Things (Come To An End)', 'Say It Right', 'In God's Hands'.
P!nk | I'm Not Dead: 'U + Ur Hand', 'Who Knew', 'I'm Not Dead', 'Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)', 'Stupid Girls'.
The Pussycat Dolls | Doll Domination: 'I Hate This Part', 'When I Grow Up', 'Jai Ho!', 'Elevator', 'Halo'.
Rihanna | ANTI: 'Kiss Is Better', 'Work', 'Needed Me', 'Love On The Brain', 'Desperado'.
Taylor Swift | 1989: 'Blank Space', 'Shake It Off', 'Wildest Dreams', 'Out Of The Woods', 'Bad Blood'.

First of all I'll make a shorter album, leave the trash out. Then the singles, let's see:

1. Fighter: I prefer this to dirrty, opening the era with a self empower song
2. Beautiful: it is the highlight of the album I think, and I think that coming from a strong lead single it would have smashed even more than how it did, which was great.
3. Can't hold Us Down: it was a good single
4. Soar next
5. Cruz as a final single

I really have no explanation other than these were my favorite songs on the album, so yeah. In no particular order.

1. Loving Me 4 Me
2. Walk Away
3. Fighter
4. Beautiful
5. Dirrty

1. Dirrty
The big comeback song with the iconic video. The perfect introduction to the era.
2. Beautiful
The perfect ballad, as everybody can relate to it.
3. Fighter
Powerful song with a great message.
4. Infatuation
Something for her Latin fans. I imagine another hot video, kind of like 'Can't Hold Us Down' meets J.Lo's 'I'm Gonna Be Alright'.
5. Walk Away
Her best ballad. Deserved a great video.

Great idea!

1. Fighter (basically a theme song for the whole album)
2. Dirrty (a bop)
3. Beautiful (a ballad is always needed)
4. Can't Hold Us Down (an urban bop)
5. Get Mine, Get Yours (just because I've always wanted a video for this one)

1. Fighter - perfect statement song, something different.
2. Dirrty- huge in the UK, iconic video and party song.
3. Beautiful - big soppy ballad.
4. Infatuation - release with a Latin-inspired video, and as a duet with Ricky Martin or something in full Spanish for other markets.
5. Can’t Hold Us Down - push and promote it more and this could’ve been huge.

I would go with the 5 that were released. I think it was a perfect era with perfectly chosen singles.

1. Dirrty
2. Fighter
3. Beautiful
4. The Voice Within
5. Can't Hold Us Down

I think Dirrty as single #1 is a must, come back with a banger after that bubblegum debut.

Move into a mid-tempo ballad which proves you can sing but equally proves you have a bit of oomph.

Onto the feel-good Beautiful which everyone loves.

Move onto The Voice Within as it's an anthem and it proves that there was a time Christina could actually sing.

And end with Can't Hold Us Down as it's a banger.

The first 4 singles were no-brainers and coherent choices. I would only debate the last one. I would go with "Cruz"

1. Dirrty
2. Beautiful
3. Fighter
4. Can't hold us down
5. Cruz
Britney Spears . Michael Jackson . Madonna . Metallica . Radiohead . Led Zeppelin . Oasis . Beyoncé . Soda Stereo

(1) Dirrty --> it's catchy, and is a great image transformation song; it's the better "I'm a Slave 4 U"
(2) Fighter --> move from sexy and fun, to powerful and the vocal gymnastic performance of the album/her career
(3) Beautiful --> the ballad centrepiece of the record, would keep the momentum of the first two singles going strong
(4) Infatuation --> like Benjamin said, give the Latin fans something to cheer about, with a sensual, beach-themed video
If grass can grow through cement, love can find you at every time in your life.

I think this album was handled perfectly, they picked all the right singles.

01 Dirrty
02 Beautiful
03 Fighter
04 Can't Hold Us Down (feat. Lil' Kim)
05 The Voice Within

However since Xtina takes so long between albums I would have extended the era into summer 2004 with two additional singles.

06 Walk Away
07 Infatuation (Remix) [feat. Daddy Yankee & Enrique Iglesias]

^ Oh imagine that ‘Infatuation’ remix! I would have died and gone to heaven 8-) I think a Christina x Enrique duet is long overdue. A shame they never worked together.

The five singles were perfect choices. She could have pulled a Come On Over (Shania Twain album) era with this and released "Cruz" and "Infatuation".

She definitely should've released more singles from the album, I agree.
'The Voice Within' was released as fifth and final single in October 2003 and the 'Car Wash' soundtrack single was released August 2004. There really was room for at least one more single. Does anyone know why they didn't release another one? The era was super successful.

I think the five chosen ones were great as singles. Very succesful in their own right.
Not my five favorite songs though. I didn't even buy Stripped at first as I thought Dirrty was such an awful song.
And although Beautiful was a mega hit with a strong message, it is not one of my favorites either, although I do like it.
She left my favorites as album tracks. I don't know if they would have been succesful as they are less commercial.
But I would have loved if one of those would have made it to a world wide official single release as sixth single:

Infatuation (my favorite song of the album; I love the Latin feel)
Walk Away (such a strong song that I still enjoy a lot to this very day; a song I can never skip)
Impossible (just different than the every day big ballad; an all time favorite of mine)

Never knew Infatuation was released as a single in Spain. There's no mention on Wikipedia. It didn't chart?

The singles were perfectly picked but it's such a strong album that she could've milked two more - I'd have picked Infatuation and Walk Away... even Get Mine Get Yours maybe!
